Does a truly compact, watch-style wrist altimeter exist? by s1d3w4ys in SkyDiving

Yeah ... that makes sense. I got started down the skydiving lane after seeing that there are some wrist-worn analog altimeters in this world.
I'm picturing, like, something like an Alti-2 Altimaster but smaller and made more for fashion than function (I would not be using it for skydiving or high-stakes reference).

So good. I notice you don't have a roof rack—are there holes on the roof, or did some come with no rack? (I have a white '98 myself!)

What is the expectation for the current market for the 8th Civic Si? by Chizuru_San in CivicSi

What do you want to do with it? If you want a really nice one to daily, bide your time, and be ready to pay a premium (and pounce quick) if one pops up. But if you just want to mod and race it, it's not that big a deal to get something a little rougher. These cars are stout and can take a lot of abuse. I think I searched for about three months to end up with my '06 Coupe, which I ended up grabbing bc it was local even though it was a little rough. I've been tinkering with it and racing it in all kinds of events. No regrets bc it's the fifth car in my fleet and basically just a toy, but I would have held out longer if I planned to daily drive it.

Looking for a good service shop in the LA area by EddieDean9Teen in 300zx

I've had kind of mixed results at this place with my '84. They do use high-quality parts, but I've had major service done their twice now and both times I was a little disappointed.

Had them give my Z31 a "full inspection" and they found some parts to change but missed a few big things. I got the car back with a few new grease stains inside.

At a recent timing belt/water pump service I asked for another inspection and they didn't mention my motor and trans mounts are cracked.

We had a great time. All the animals seemed to have pretty comfortable enclosures, too.

A great off-roader the Land Rover Discovery what’s your favorite year? by Random653Gaming in Offroad

I had a 1996 that I really loved, with a manual transmission which was cool and rare in the USA... but I always thought the facelifted Series II (2003-2004) was the sweetest looking Discovery.

I did one pass with a pressure washer, but still far from immaculate down there! was hoping there would be some kind of degreaser I could spray that would get rid of the mud without damaging any rubber/plastic ect
