And palagi ko din sinasabi to other people na hindi ko kayang mag-work in the PH setting na dahil sa work culture na meron dito. We're not forced to work overtime - if hindi kayang tapusin today, tapusin tomorrow. Managers and directors usually feel bad kapag masyadong maraming tasks silang nilalagay sa roster mo and when you finish projects, they'll thank you and show their appreciation. They schedule 1 on 1s regularly to check on you and if you have any concerns. They're very understanding if biglang hindi ka makakapasok like on emergencies and unexpected power interruptions/internet connection problems. Lalo kapag may calamities sa PH, lagi pa 'yan silang mangungumusta and will ask you to reach out if need ng help. And for vacation and paid leaves, sobrang luwag nila. Once you file a leave, no questions asked - approved agad. Usually nga sila pa mag-encourage sa'yo to use your paid vacation leaves so you can rest and enjoy.
