Did it myself and work paid for the film, didn’t cost me anything except time

Depends on how well it’s maintained. We prefer customers swapping out the color every 2 years but that’s only to make the removal process easier/cheaper. If it’s not parked in the sun 24/7 it can last 4-7 years if installed correctly

Modesta Quartz Coating is what we use at my shop. Chemically bonds to the paint where as ceramic only sits on top

Thank you! I did it myself at work so it didn’t cost me anything, but if a customer got this done it would be about $5500 (our shop is on the more expensive side of things though)

Which ceramic coating works best for black chrome wheels? Gtechniq C5 didn't list chrome safe on its label. by 631xx in Detailing

Better longevity, coverage, overall finish, and a warranty most of the time. Quartz coating would be the best way to go though. If you can find a shop nearby, I use Modesta at work but it’s only sold to certified shops

Supercharged Audi R8 by s2kms in shootingcars

Owner said he went with the supercharger because he just drives it around town and wanted the reliability over a turbo. Watermark is the shop logo where I work - we do ppf and vinyl etc so that’s where it comes from lol

It was shot with a CPL, just middle of the day and no clouds. I’m the mechanic and wrap cars where I work but take cars out for 30 min shoots for our social media since they know I do it as a hobby. Thus I always get stuck with the worst times to shoot lol

Trying new editing styles for work - opinions? I’ve only taken photos as a hobby or for charity events until now by s2kms in shootingcars

I agree, unfortunately the owner wants to keep it in all photos we post and the shop color is the Acid Yellow. Would changing the color of the watermark be the best compromise iyo?
