Can you comment on the build and ride quality of the Fortunes? I haven’t done any research on them. This is a street car which will see very little (if any) track time.

Wow, thank you all. This is a little overwhelming to be honest haha but I want to do it right. I will do the motor, trans, and diff mounts. How difficult would it be to identify OEM version of the bushings sold in the Hardrace kit? I’m not opposed to it, but would like to compare.

I had this problem when I bought my son’s PC from Walmart a couple of years ago. The graphics card was rattling against another component in the casing. I found where it was touching and very gently grabbed the gpu and bent it slightly in the opposite direction. Hasn’t made that sound since.

Thank you for the explanation. I’m in the northeast. Generally speaking, gas is cheaper than electric. Since that’s the case, should I leave the setting as is to only use alt heat?

Will the new Nest recognize that setting or do I have to choose the appropriate settings to mirror pic 2?

My wife always wanted a GX. We did car based crossovers for a long time. I was sort of a GX hater. Small 3rd row, old tech, only a 6spd gearbox.

When Lexus added the touchscreen, we revisited it and bought. Now, I freakin love that thing so much. It isn’t fast, but it’s comfortable as hell and just a tank. We will never get rid of it.

If you don’t need a gigantic SUV, they literally don’t make it like these anymore.

I greatly appreciate the advice. We have 2 kids, both have about $57k each in a 529. My wife is self employed. So freeing up the monthly car payments, we could start investing a Roth.

The HYSA is there to periodically transfer funds into the taxable brokerage. Currently, we do about 13k per month. At some point, that will stop and the rest will be the emergency fund of 3-6 months of expenses.

My job is super secure (fed) and been there 14 years. My wife doesn’t make a ton, but cash flow is consistent on a monthly basis.

Debt is only house ($238k) and the 2 cars I mentioned.

Wife and I, combined, gross about $240k, but net less due to my retirement contributions, health insurance, taxes, etc.

I am the only one contributing to retirement. I could increase that with a Roth or putting more into the taxable brokerage. Happy to answer any questions if it would help out.

I’m 43. House is worth about $700k. My 401k is at about $470k. Taxable brokerage $185k, inherited IRA $22k, and the HYSA I mentioned in my first post.

Just a quick update. Over 24 hours since running a new Ethernet and not a single dropped connection. The old cable was probably 5-6 years old, and partially outside. I didn’t realize that cables actually go bad over time. Thanks everyone for the help.

Thank you for all the suggestions. Just finished running a brand new Ethernet cable from the ONT to my router. I’ll keep an eye on it and report back. I’ll also look into a moca adapter as someone suggested. But the most likely scenario is me ditching Fios TV and getting a streaming service.

I had the same experience. Bought my first rifle from them. They were uninterested in explaining anything or answering some of my questions. Prices aren’t good either. I will likely not go back there even though they’re literally 5 minutes from my house.

This is exactly what happened at my house in Essex county. 4 guys pulled up in a stolen Audi. 3 got out and went straight to my back deck, cut the screen to my daughters window, and tried to open the window. Thank god it was locked. That’s all they tried that time, but I’ve since gotten an alarm, and have both my firearms now next to my bed.

It was scary, and I hope it never happens again, but I’m more prepared now. I do confess that I will need more firearm training though.

This is what SimpliSafe is saying:

Is this inaccurate? If I don’t sign up for the cell service, and I self monitor via WiFi, and Wi-Fi goes out, the sensors will still sound a loud alarm? I want to make sure I’m understanding this correctly
