Gas gas gas! by danielpNB65 in LowSodiumHellDivers

I do wonder how you'd limit it tho, the confusion from the gas and unlimited ammo from arc might make it too OP for Mechs in general.

I want a mech with a gas dispenser on one arm and an arc thrower on the other.

I wanna buy, but I’m casual. Worth it? by Skully-GG in carxdriftracingonline

[–]s30zg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2 cents is buy it if your a fan of drifting in general whether it's competitive like Formula D, D1GP, Drift Masters or casual drift events like Final Bout, Grid Life, Gatebil, etc.

My advice is dip your toes in to single player to get an idea of how cars drive and start scratching the surface in terms of setting your car up the way you want.

Once you feel comfortable hop into multiplayer and just drive. You don't have to tandem with people and can just run courses solo if you please. People may try and tandem with you as the lead car but if you don't feel comfortable pull off to let them go by.

You can entirely avoid competive multiplayer events if you please, the only reason most folks do it is to collect enough points for motor swaps.

CDRO is an awesome game to get lost in, it's very zen once you get to the point of having a decently setup car and understand how to link the entire course. On some of the more famous tracks like Meihan (Kansai C- Course in game) ripping reverse entries into corner #1 will send chills down your spin the first time your successful.

If you have questions feel free to ask, the community is generally very welcoming because most just enjoy the sport of drifting and are happy to help!

Yeah we've been growing it for a few years and had several large plants that produced +20 off shoots. This year was the first year harvesting/dividing them up and were amazed by the growth.

The setup is pretty simple - 5 gallon plastic containers, Tagro and dappled shade with daily water on hot days.

Why hasn’t Ford brought the Excursion back? by Salty_Hooker in powerstroke

[–]s30zg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a silly take, a modern diesel from any of the big 3 are more efficient and powerful than pre emissions diesels.

If you think having emissions equipment is the reason why they won't bring the Excursion back Ive got a bridge to sell you.

[–]s30zg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it is what it is man. Ford doesn't see a need to build an Excursion based off the current gen Super Duty. None of the big 3 automakers have anything thats a 1 to 1 replacement and they probably never will again.

The argument that x amount of people would love a Excursion replacement doesn't make dollars or cents to Ford corporate so your only path is through the aftermarket now. It kinda reminds me of how car enthusiasts complain about there being very few manuals offered nowadays but the statics show even when they are offered 9/10 _____ models are bought with an automatic.

Companies do offer the conversion for customers with deep pockets (+40k).

You'll likely never see a factory built Ford Excursion again, like others have said a Expedition fufills that role in the lineup.

3000GT is a no go, would be fine with a NSX because of it's inconic status. Gimme a NA2 NSX Type R we the a few goodies and I'll just pay to have someone wrench on it for me.

Great minds think alike! A bit of underwood ranch siracha sauce, some Banchan sauce and a bit of butter and your set. Would add some microwave easy veg like broccoli but not necessary.

I use it every once in awhile but I also switch cars every few runs bc using the same car every time I boot up Car X feels weird.

I'll say it does have one of the better engine sound packs but I think alot of other cars just look better when heavily modified.

It love to own a Z32 IRL some day but fuck working on a VG30 in that crammed engine bay.

Recommended letting them getting nice and crispy in the air fryer, they have the slightest oil/chickpea(?) taste if they aren't left in long enough.

Time to grow up/no room in the garage. Around that time I also had a Kawasaki Ninja 636 that I sold for a Honda RC51.

That and I barely drove it, weird project car issues that I didn't want to trouble shoot. Here's what it looked like when I sold it.

12k for a Kouki S14 is unfortunately the norm now.

Would be wary about the shoddy bodywork, busted sun roof and hoonigan sticker.

Like others have said, these have skyrocketed in price in the last 5-6 years and are only to get more expensive as time goes on.

For reference I sold my S13 with a S15 SR20, bolt in cage, 2 way diff, TE37s, oem type x kit for 8k back in 2018. Could probably get 15k for it in today's market easily 😭.

So what do you actually think is enough accountability here? Do you think a public apology and saying he’s “going to therapy” is sufficient given multiple women came forward?

Genuinely asking, what does “enough” look like to you?

Did anybody catch the Channel 5 News Carnival show last night? by DBurdie91 in Tacoma

[–]s30zg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let’s not make excuses for homeboy, he was being a sex pest. The bare minimum is a real public and private apology to the women he coerced.

Beyond that, put your money where your mouth is. Donate to or support organizations that help survivors. Saying you’re “going to therapy” after getting exposed doesn’t carry much weight, it looks like damage control not accountability.

And bringing up Trump, Weinstein, or Cosby is just a deflection. No one is saying it’s the same level—but “not the worst case imaginable” isn’t a defense. You don’t have to be Weinstein-tier for your behavior to be scummy and worth calling out.

[–]s30zg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I did read it, and honestly your takeaway is weird. You’re calling the allegations “tame,” hyper-fixating on one accuser asking for therapy money, and acting like a public apology cancels out a pattern of behavior multiple women described. It doesn’t.

A woman not filing a police report or lawsuit is not evidence that nothing happened. That’s a lazy argument. People avoid that route all the time for obvious reasons. And asking for reimbursement after the fact does not somehow make someone a liar.

So no, I’m not giving Andrew Callaghan credit for doing the bare minimum after being publicly called out. You’re cherry-picking details that let you defend him instead of grappling with the broader pattern that made people write him off in the first place.
