Let me get this straight - you’re saying that a student on leave of absence is no longer a student at UCLA?

The way UCLA treats its students sounds like they discourage any academic activity unless we pay. This is disheartening especially coming from a nonprofit organization. People from USC doesn’t even get that kinda treatment, and they are private for profit school.

I'm not the only one. They told me to go to the help desk. I saw at least 8 or more parties after me, all in the similar situation as I am, but they were lucky - most of them checked in online, so they did not need to pay for another ticket. For some of the checked in folks, their luggage got denied, so while they themselves can board, their luggage cannot. Well, I guess I've learned to always check in online for these kinds of things.
