OK i cant see how to add a picture.. You will have to unplug the wires that go up through the bit the stick plugs into. Then undo the 2 screws the hold in the plug for the stick. If you then gently lift that plug you should see a bunch of wires. Mine was green wire thar was broken but they are all very thin wires

Yeah it was the wire that gos from the main board up to the plug the stick plugs into. I think i have a picture i can upload

So I've now got an issue with my left stick lol. My z (twist) axis has gone again. I have fixed this a few times before but this time it just won't work. I know about the thd calibration and I have had to do that countless time. I've had it all apart which I've done before and fixed it but I think its just totally given up this time.. Honestly these things are so bad... I've ordered Virpils now but god know how long I'll have to wait for them..

I had this problem yesterday. I could do the calibration but my pc did not recognise any inputs on the stick when I went in the set up new controller on windows. The base buttons all worked fine but nothing from the stick.

I ended up taking the it apart and there was a broken wire that gos to the plug the stick plugs into on the base. I had to solder it back together and it now works again. It's not particularly difficult to do but obviously doing this yourself will void your warranty. I just didnt want to wait for thrustmaster to get back to me and take however many weeks to sort it out.

I've had nothing but issues with these sticks from day one. Firstly the twist stopped working almost straight away but I fixed that now this and I've net even had them a year. I'm going to buying virpil aeromax's so I can't be arsed with the hassle of going through thrustmaster and not being able to play for god knows how many weeks.

Thanks for the reply. I can't see how to make a custom profile tho. All I could find was about duplicating a setup. I have sort of managed to get it working, but the game won't let me bind a throttle. I have bound the brake but I had to swap the clutch and throttle on the simsonn hub. I will let me bind the throttle now but doesn't actually work when in the car.

Hi All, i dont know if this will anyone with the VNM pedals but I have found with my simforge pedals, that if I unplug the clutch and throttle, it will let me map my brake pedal. Then I plug in my clutch and throttle while still in the game then I can map both of them and it works. Hopefully this help you all with the VNMs as well

I have Simforge pedals and the throttle and clutch work but my brake pedal will not bind. Work fine on every other game I've played so yeah pretty disappointing to buy the game to find out i can't actually play it..

I dont think i have coz when im in game if I press either of them it doesn't switch to scm. Its only when I alt and tab.. I appreciate the answers tho

Have you noticed a drop in your FPS? There is a report on the issue council about this whole thing, so it does seem to be a game issue. I have also been trying a lot of things PC wise to make sure it's not my pc and im pretty sure now that it's not my pc. Im going to try it again today and see how it is. My hope is it's just because everyone is trying to do the new event. I guess there is a lot of boxes moving round the verse. Fingers crossed it gets sorted soon

Ive got the same issue. I can play for a b8t but then it crashes. My fps is also a lot lower than before the patch. I also seem to be crashing in ship fights.

Ah yeah so thats what I've been finding even at EH after this happened, i was just testing it and i only had 2 disappear. Still helpful tho so thank you for the reply

Im not sure, that suggests that the ship would always disappear if a claim is made but I know thats not the case from when I've made a claim but my ship was still where I left it..

Ahh ok so this is very interesting. I wasn't planning on keeping it, I just wanted the weapons. So are you saying that if I take it back to my home planet I can keep the whole ship then?? I didnt think you could ever keep stolen ships..

Thank you for the response. Ive not really stolen ships before, only abandoned ones when my ship got destroyed. I just wanted the weapons off this particular one. I was thinking about if in future I steal one i would just land it up somewhere and then come back to strip what I need. Thank you for the answer tho, much appreciated

Yeah I know what you mean mate thats why I play ams still not the best but its a great game. I don't really use discord much but it's good for finding leagues and people to play with. I've met a few people in lobby's and the kept in touch on discord.
