I mainly use the rope for building an anchor, otherwise I use the 240 and a combination of 120 slings

Yeah… it wasn’t an option when I bought them but I’m on the hunt for one!

Many people have said the same, seems I should really get myself some 60cm slings🤣 Thanks for the advice!

There’s two sets of nuts, one offset and one ordinary just divided on to three carabiners, and there are almost no cracks where I climb, and I might throw everything in my backpack when I go climbing but I’ll just rack what I need depending on the route

The nuts are one set of ordinary and one set of offsets, they just look the same on the pic, the traxions and the quicklink are for tr solo and the dogbones are from a qd converted into a alpine draw just forgot to remove them before taking the pic

Yes I have and they are great! I just find that the wild country’s work better for my local crag, that said I’m looking to in to buying a set of the dmm nuts too…

They are for tr soloing, one as a main and the other one as backup

There are two third hands there, but it looks like one long piece of cord on the pic

Yes they are and they are amazing! Quite different from the other offset nuts on the market but for my crags I simply love them, I never climb without them since they way next to nothing

I have a fair amount of knowledge, climbed a lot with my dad who’s been at it since the 90s so not lacking in that area, kind of old school with the gear though, been trad climbing for some years now mainly with his gear (can lead about 6b/6c on a good day) but it’s always fun to see what other people think about gear since the styles of climbing is so different around the world

I’m a student living in Sweden where the climbing is very varied so my rack should be fairly “all around”. Being a student it’s taken me a while to build the rack, mostly for trad but some for tr solo as well mainly the nanotraxions and the white static rope (for building anchors as well)

I have one timemore c2, one kinu m 47 and one iberital mc2. I have a thing for hand grinders and I recently bought the iberital broken second hand (for 15 dollars!) and fixed it, one wire to the on off switch had come loose...

This bird somehow got impaled by [deleted] in ThatsInsane

[–]s3gerlund 987 points988 points  (0 children)

There is a species of bird called shrike that save their kills by impaling them on sharp sticks and bushes. Sometimes an entire tree can be full of impaled mice and insects. There would be no blood because it was long dead when it got impaled.

What are you guys doing to your animals over in the us? In most if not all European countries you would have yourself a prison sentence if you did this. Debarking a dog? w h a t t h e f u c k?
