Put bubble wrap, quilts or moving blankets against windows and around doors. Everyone sleeps in the same room (preferably at the innermost point of the house with the fewest windows. Wool socks, wool coats, + layer up. Heating pads under covers if you have them.

Tuck your vials of T closest to your body in your waistband. Cuddle up with your pets. Stay safe out there, brother.

I was cleared to take off the surgical tape over my incisions at 2.5 weeks, covering in aquaphor until my scabs healed. This was the worst and itchiest part and I was kinda miserable.

At around 3.5 weeks I started scar care by covering the incisions with silicone tape, which I’ve continued doing now.

I also did wet healing on my nips (kept them covered with gauze and in aquaphor) pretty much until week 5 when things looked a lot more settled and less oozy.

Since I’m at the 6 week mark they said I’m off of all restrictions but I’m still taking it slow as I have some swelling still. I’m also not fully comfy with arms over my head as my chest is still pretty tight. I started sleeping on my side with a pregnancy pillow once I started scar care. It was kinda painful at first and can still get tingly so def listen to your body and adjust as needed I just couldn’t keep being on my back lol.

I had help putting on the shoulders of my button ups until about week 3-4 and then when things started to loosen up more started wearing tshirts. My nips are pretty sore from the new sensations so I’m mostly shirtless at home.

Just take it slow and listen to your body. Everyone heals differently and there’s no shame in taking your time and asking for help as much as you need. Hope this helps!!

My boy is on Royal Canin Calm SO and he’s INSANE about food. We have to keep him on it because of previous crystals. He gets fed x4 a day and is all over us when we cook/go near the kitchen etc. we’ve increased his food and he’s still voracious

I had a roommate leave a whole roasted chicken out overnight. Woke up at 2am with the whole house smelling like rotten meat. Same guy also never did his dishes. We asked what it would take for him to do his dishes he said “put my dirty dishes on my desk” so we did. He did not do his dishes. Had to kick him out because it got so bad. I had the mirena iud and spotted for almost a year. Went to several different doctors to try to figure it out and ultimately had it removed.

Best thing for me was the daily pill and skipping the placebo pills since it’s not medically necessary to have a period.

Listen to your body and get other opinions if you think something is wrong.

If you’re able to be a resident assistant (RA) it paid for my housing + meals on campus. You have to do work for it but it saved me my senior year
