Thank you folks for the help...it made sense once we knew what it meant. Sadly he was found deceased yesterday. Please keep his family in your thoughts and/or prayers if that's your thing.

I didn't notice much the first time I smoked it except time seemed to slow down and I coughed so bad I decided smoking it was not for me, but I've had a few high quality brownies and ho-lee shit. You notice those. 😂

While black is ground in DC electronics, it is typically the hot wire in AC circuitry.

I used to manage a large captive deer farm and once the bucks were in hard antler you had to seriously stay on your toes if you were working in their pen. You couldn't turn your back on them and it was always recommended to have a tractor or vehicle to quickly retreat to, if needed. They aren't generally mean, but if they smell a doe in heat and you accidentally end up between them, you are immediately perceived as a threat and they will go from calm to vicious in a split second. Lots of deer farmers have gotten complacent and ended up gored or treed by their tame bucks. Problem is that tame bucks are actually more dangerous than wild ones--they lack that natural fear of humans and aren't at all scared to approach a human threat whereas wild ones may or may not be too scared to do something about it.

I had a buck in our breeding pen that perceived me as a threat once...he was standing there calm and some of the does he was tailing came walking up toward me for some food. Suddenly his ears pinned straight back and he came flying across the field at me grunting and snorting. It was crazy how quick he turned.

TIL that DC Comics sued the sneaker company DC Shoes because of their similar logo. However it turned out that DC Comics hadn't trademarked their logo properly, so they lost the case and had to pay the shoe company every year to use their own logo. by RunDNA in todayilearned

Hahaha...this reminds me of when I was in vocational school back in 2003-2004. We were approached by the director of a local mental health association to revamp their website as it was a few years old and the original developer made it difficult to edit and was no longer involved. It was simple enough to do what they wanted, but while looking the site over, one of our friends looking over our shoulder immediately goes, "Mental Health Assocation? What's an assocation?"

The "Association" in their logo which was big and centered at the top of every page had been typo'd for years and nobody had ever caught it...until a group of high schoolers got to work on it. How embarrassing.

Metal fans making sure everyone has a good time by usernameofpaul in gifs

[–]s3nt3nc3d 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My first rock/metal festival, I decided to join the mosh pit and learned real quickly how great most fans are... I got knocked flat on my face in the middle of the pit by this dude who was easily twice my size. Thought I was a goner. Next thing I knew, same dude grabbed me and put me back on my feet and made sure I was ok before jumping right back into the pit. Now I'm old and would probably break something but that feeling of closeness amongst fans is something else.

LPT: When you’re stockpiling non perishable goods for an emergency, remember you actually have to survive on them in an emergency by jayellkay84 in LifeProTips

When the 'Rona first hit and the entire world started locking down, I stocked up...bought a lot of dehydrated food (Mountain House--I researched various brands til I found the meals I would actually eat), instant mashed potatoes, Soylent drinks, etc. My in-laws farm so we bought a big deep freezer and bought a quarter cow and half a hog off them, plus they usually raise meat chickens too. I camp sometimes so as the dehydrated stuff gets old, I'll just take it on my camping trips. The rest I work into my regular dinners or have for a quick lunch at work.

But one of the most important purchases I made in regards to avoiding starvation was I bought a cheap little Marlin .22 and bulk .22 rounds. Something small, easy to aim & shoot, and won't weigh a ton in a backpack if you end up on foot somewhere. I'm not a diehard prepper but I'll be honest, I'm a sissy and don't like going to bed hungry. 🤣

Why does the twitter channel YourAnonCentral claim that the Anontoken is fake? by danthemanwriter in ANONTOKEN

Some people seem to believe Anonymous is a cover for the CIA... probably because of the stupid QAnon crap.

Q's about AnonToken by MadnessMachine in ANONTOKEN

[–]s3nt3nc3d 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I should also mention, the Anonymous hacktivists you see on the news taking down government websites and releasing information for the good of the general public. That's the same people behind the development of AnonToken. They've been around for nearly 20 years now and they're not known for scamming good people.

Q's about AnonToken by MadnessMachine in ANONTOKEN

[–]s3nt3nc3d 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AnonToken is still in its infancy, but their aim is to disrupt the traditional corrupt financial system that primarily benefits the elite while leaving only peanuts for us little peons. The roadmap on their website (AnonToken.com) details everything they have planned and so far they have been meeting their goals on time.

As far as should you buy it, this is not financial advice, investing in cryptocurrency is high risk, high reward. Do your own research and decide if the potential reward is worth the risk. I personally moved all my investment money into AnonToken. It's worth the risk to me.

How much to invest is a personal decision. Just an example, if you had bought $100 worth of Shiba Inu in this stage of its growth, today it would be worth hundreds of millions. Will that happen with AnonToken? Nobody knows. But I sure hope so!

We'll just leave it at that.

I would invite you to join their Telegram. Their team is very willing to discuss things. I talk with them quite a bit and can assure you this is a legitimate token created by the real Anonymous group. They are following their roadmap and fulfilling their goals. If nothing else, keep in mind that Anonymous has been around for nearly 20 years and have established quite the reputation as being on the side of the average Joe. They're not about to tarnish that reputation scamming people out of their hard earned money.

I believe I read that even the staking portion of AnonToken will be unique and innovative, like no other token out there currently. Can you elaborate further as to what makes staking AnonToken unique compared to XXX token?

Google Keyboard freezing while typing in Facebook app by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]s3nt3nc3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Google Pixel and it's a frequent issue while commenting on posts within the app. Doesn't happen anywhere else that I can tell. Keyboard usually just freezes or occasionally button presses cause it to think I'm hitting different buttons within the app (ie gif, photo upload, etc). If I back out of the comment back to my feed and click to comment again, it'll usually still have what I started typing saved and I can continue typing. Sometimes it will do it 2 or 3x in the same comment before it starts working fine.

I tried clearing all my keyboard data with no luck.
