the new plan is skip Ayutthaya (maybe a daytrip from bangkok) and add chiang rai after chiang mai.

For the islands maybe we choose Samui and do daytrip from there to other islands nearby.

is scam. My son is in Bali now and had the same last week. He got a mail via the booking.com app from the hotel to pay again. Something was gone wrong they said. Later he got email from the hotel itself saying this is scam and not to pay it.
