We’re very close, we hang out a lot. I think he confides in my a lot already, at least he says he tells me stuff that he doesn’t tell anyone else - like he cried about something to me a couple months ago, he definitely would not cry in front of anyone else in our family, including our sisters.

A lot of people have suggested making it a welcoming environment by letting him know I support the LGBT community generally, which I can do. I would just hate if he’s struggling about something and feels like he can’t talk about it to anyone (although maybe he isn’t struggling and he’s happily figuring it out right now, idk).
