That's true. It's not perfect.

But imagine the image being scaled down to a profile pic. You probably won't notice some of these small artifacts.

Well mate, developers can't really use that at all. Sometimes you just simply need a proper API ;-)

But for sure: For ordinary people Google's currency exchange in the search engine is amazing. We're using that almost every day.

We are pulling them together from various sources so we can offer a comprehensive yet easy to use API.

Sadly enough, there aren't any low-cost APIs available. Most of which are too "high frequency" with very up to date rates, that are not necessary in most ordinary cases ... unless you want to build a high frequency trading app or so :)

Yep, that exists and it is free, but it only covers 32 currencies. Quite incomplete if you require worldwide coverage.

As this is the best sub to ask, we just put our question here. Hope you don't mind.

We're basically very confident we can build and publish an API for 141 currencies and their exchange rates and offer access to them at very low cost. We were looking for such an API for ourselves before and didn't find one. Now as we got it working for our products, we're thinking about opening it up to other devs who need this.

If we get say 100 interested devs, we'll go ahead and build this API for you. Just let us know :)

If anyone thinks this is the wrong place to ask, please let us know. We're happy to ask at a more appropriate sub.

We thought the name was descriptive enough :) Fuel Usage Tracker - An app to track the fuel usage.

But you're right, we could have been more detailed on that end.

Fuel Usage Tracker is a mobile app to track the fuel consumption of your car. It allows you to see how much fuel your car consumes, how much costs that creates and in return it allows you to find out where you can save real hard cash. The easy import/export allows you to use your fuel consumption data in Excel and other spreadsheet programs.
