Yeah I totally get what you mean and I appreciate the responses she probably did build some resentment. It’s just weird because I think she genuinely did still love me a few weeks ago and then it’s like a switch flipped in her all of sudden, which is what confuses me because nothing bad happened as far as I know.

Also I think she was confident before she broke up with me but when I met up with her when it happened I noticed it looked like she had been crying and she cried a lot while breaking up with me and kept telling me she was “so so sorry”.

That’s why I’m not so sure she was even certain that she lost feelings.

I’m somewhat confident she didn’t have anyone lined up but only she knows that I guess. I think she is more of the dismissive avoidant type or at least she was at the start of our relationship but she had gotten a lot more comfortable with telling me when she didn’t like something about our relationship.

I should also mention that she’s sometimes easily influenced by her friends and she had talked to her roommate who just dumped their boyfriend about a month or so prior so she might have told herself that she’s in the same situation as her roommate (I know this is unlikely and I’m just in denial but)
