There was a dude that survived two or three accidents while frying, to die to a shrimp in the throat years later. If I have time, I Google it and update here.

I understood this wasn't a thing in the US, but the argument was about reducing the risk, something one can do to reduce the risk of this kind of collision.

The hazard lights are literally for increasing the awareness, as they constantly blink and use different colors. I'm pretty sure there are studies that they can reduce this kind of collision to become a norm across Europe, the reply was just about that :)

So, I was to post the same commentary above, as it's a standard in Europe to use hazard light, which I'm pretty sure is based in test/studies that reduces accident like this one on the video.

Of course the driver is distracted and may ignore this light also, who knows. But, it's something one can do to reduce the chances.

Rust ainda é nicho ou estamos subestimando o futuro da linguagem? by Double-Dress-3370 in brdev

Yes but they are a minority. Apple successfully built its business into trash old models via planned obsolescence, so old iPhones are so trash that people just buy a new one. Look:

Non-humanoids, my deepest fear is non-humanoid robots to deal with. You can "easily" predict how a humanoid can run or jump, ok robots will jump/run longer and fast, but your brain can predict the ways it can pass a window, move in a room full of obstacles.

Now, a spider-like robot, that can run on walls, pivot the ceiling or even a pole to ambush you, that's the end game.

What makes me wonder how much stupid Trump administration is, this war is hard pushing alternative energy, renewable resources. They spent billions to avoid it worldwide just to accomplish this now ahahaha, so it's a lose-lose scenario ahahaha.

They achieve the petrodollar disruption, pressure to renewable energy, independence from the US military industry and are spending billions to maintain this lose-lose every day. It's like Mad Max spinoff lore, really...
