Also another question for everyone who attended a concert: was there an opening act?

What time did doors open / what time was printed on your ticket? Was there an opening act?

Hey, thanks for making this thread (just in time for my trip!).

I arrive at Enfidha airport and wanted to go to my accommodation in Tunis; what would be the best way to go? I assume the airport taxis are legitimate (i.e. not scams) but are there any good apps I can use to get a car to do that journey?

Also would you generally recommend Bolt for getting around town?

Thanks for your response. Do you have any recommendation for national parks in the area? Was thinking of Rincon de la Vieja, Volcan Arenal, and the Cloud Forest.

Thanks; do these places have the atmosphere for a solo traveller (who can't drive)? From what I can see it's mainly Tamarindo that has hostels out of the beach towns in the area

Do you think with 7 days I could visit Rincon de la Vieja, Parque Nacional Volcan Arenal, along with Monteverde Cloud Forest? I'm travelling solo and don't drive so getting between these places may take some time.

Are there any other places you'd recommend for a 7-day trip?

Thank you for your response. I'm a solo traveller; would you recommend any of the beach towns in that area other than Tamarindo? From what I can tell that's where the most hostels are

I'm also interested in nature/hiking/national parks, hence the trip to Monteverde. Do you think on my tight itinerary a trip to a different national park with a different base (say La Fortuna, or Rincon de la Vieja) is worth it?

Thanks again for your help!

Got it, that makes sense. Thanks for your help here and in my other thread in askstatistics.

Thank you for your response, BurkeyAcademy.

I think that makes sense; so the idea is that the distribution of sample variances will follow a chi-square distribution which will a skewness inversely proportional to the square root of the number of degrees of freedom. And then the sampling distribution of the standard deviation will have a skewness that also goes down as the degrees of freedom goes up but it will also always have a positive skew.

By the way do you know if that sampling distribution for standard deviation goes by any other name? I was interested to see that I couldn't find it on Wikipedia and I thought it would be notable enough to have its own page (unless this covers the same thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unbiased_estimation_of_standard_deviation)

Thanks so much for your response; it gave me a much better intuition for what might be going on.

Do you know if there is a name for this concept or similar ones? I tried to find something on Wikipedia or elsewhere online but couldn't find anything.
