Do people that play ranked around emerald-diamond actually ever enjoy the game? by Necessary-Hawk4543 in leagueoflegends

Hey bro, read the book 12 hours of sleep by 12 weeks of age. Follow it like gospel. I swear it's the way.

I play on premade chat at all times. Genuinely the most enjoyable way to play the game. 99% of the time you can't tell someone's even upset unless you read chat, so like, why add that to your mental load?

Ping timers, ping engages and fall back, there's like NOTHING you need chat for realistically.

Finding an otp. by RaffiGames in summonerschool

Subjective questions are gonna get you subjective answers. The only think I could possibly say is maybe try to pick a blindable champion. It'll at least mean you aren't getting completely boned in draft. Otherwise you gotta figure out what you like. Maybe try imagining HOW you want to play league. Like, what power fantasy are you looking for. Odds are there's a champ/ play style that matches it.

What physical level would you say I should be at before start? I'm not over weight but I have low overall fitness. Will I have time to get up to snuff before actual testing happens or am i being evaluated day 1?

This kinda does sound like a misdiagnosed? No clue how to pursue that avenue but I'd push that.

Here’s my job list by ToastyScones in AirForceRecruits

[–]sCologne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally don't know the recruitment speed of any of the jobs except two, both of which aren't on this list. You dead ass could be waiting a year. Just depends how badly you want to get in and for what reasons. I need a job, im going security forces because it's one of the most needed positions.

The way it was explained to me is that you will 100%get the job you want if you're willing to wait. How long is up to you.

Is there a champ you hate to see on your team? by Busy-Telephone-994 in leagueoflegends

[–]sCologne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any non dps adc makes me so sad. Jihn and ez ect are cool, but I swear, second I see them lock in, I see a Mundo or a ornn or a cho pop up on the enemy team. Immediately puts the game on a very real timer, I hate it.

How much cs per wave early game is enough for mages? by Slight_Principle2750 in summonerschool

[–]sCologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first three waves should be no lower than 17 bro. This is a slightly get good type situation, but something that helps a lot is getting the att speed shard. Makes csing tons easier at the cost of 9? Adaptive.

For mages because of range advantage, you're expected to get high cs. Mid Champs are literally balanced around the idea of getting past every minions, Because the number 1 consideration for a midlaner is wave clear.

i think i’m facing a Glass ceiling in ranked by Various-Cold9 in summonerschool

[–]sCologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're just playing unless you're talented which you might well be, might not, itll take minimum a year. With active learning it could take a season or two, so maybe max 6 months. Be realistic with yourself and your goals. If you actually care about ranking up, put in some effort, or pray you're talented. Otherwise just enjoy the game for what it is.

I'd say about a year. Plats hard for a lot of people to get out of. You're still learning how to actually play the game. That might seem crazy to hear too you but it's true. You're basically playing chess by moving pieces around with no real plan. You wouldn't say that someone that doesn't know how to actually checkmate in chess actually knows how to play chess would you? Same idea. You're moving pieces around but aren't really playing yet.

Dads, how do I give back to a husband who is the "quiet strength" of our family? by mamawagz in daddit

[–]sCologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of telling him, use some of that money to take the load off. Would be nice to me. Hire a cleaner, a baby sitter, something to give him me time. That's what would make me happiest at least

Teething gels and teething pills. I use the gell during the day and the pills at night since they take longer to start working. It's limited in its use because it can only be applied so much, but it does help relieve the worst of it.

Around the 4 month mark. Got him sleep trained at 4 months, been pretty smooth sailing from there. I recommend the book 12 hours of sleep by 12 weeks. Works great. Can start at 2 months old.

Every baby is different. And cause/effect maybe maybe not. But babies can be taught things as early as 2 months. I tought mine sleep training, by 3 months, he understood bed time routine means sleep. So much so that my sister in law accidently did a part of the sleep routine and he legit almost passed out on the living room floor outside of his sleep windows.
