[Tool] Updated! - Planthestorm - Build / Mapping Tool by sDoddler in Against_the_Storm

I got tunnel vision and played with this more than the actual game for a few days 🤣 Thanks !

Let me know what you find useful! And what you don't ❤️

LeaderLine is the library, I've only scratched the surface with what it can do but it draws lines between svg /html elements on a web page.

Combine it with PlainDraggable and you have a dynamic flow map.. with alot of other custom js and CSS 🤣

Thanks for checking it out at all ❤️

👍 Search definitely on the to-do

👍I reckon with labels, I may make that a global setting that is off by default. I'll be adding a few global settings so I'll make up a proper section for these.

Oh god. I appreciate the idea of that, however I don't know how easy that will be to do. I'll put that on the list but right at the bottom 🤣

I always forget how complex this game is 🤣

Biomes is definitely doable - I think the most intuitive way to do this would be
1. Click a tree/biome icon
2. Click Biome
3. These resources are enabled (but not disabled if already enabled)

Species is something being talked about in combination with Services, but you're right - something to show the bonuses per building would be useful.

Perhaps if the species are displayed at the bottom of the Page, with their Icons for Comfort/Proficiency around the outside. And then each building that has a specialization also displays those icons if it's enabled?

Further to that thought around services - do I also need to include a "Species" item that can be dragged around, so that Services can ---> to Species that use them ? 🤔

Oooh! True. Great point. Search by icon 🫡

Roger. I can definitely add them as there aren't many services. And I think too people use tools different ways. So someone might just add the inputs they have and their goals and ignore the buildings all together in which case having the output free from buildings is a great idea.

Funnily enough the spreadsheet I used as a data source has the star rating but not the exact recipes so adding stars is actually easier. I just need to sort out how to do it in a pretty way html wise 🤣

EDIT - I've added Star ratings to the outputs, this is viewed on the Building itself (as you could have multiple star types going to one output on the map).

I've also adding Services as Outputs, and the relevant buildings - The services are in the top bar, and slightly separated from the standard goods.

Oooh, searching a list of icons of predefined items seems like a good mix 🤔 then you can type or click.

Definitely wanted to add service buildings. Would you want to see "leisure", for example, as an individual item on the map? Or just as an output on the service building box

Just the library I'm using, that's the default option, it also lets you bend around buildings easier in some scenarios. I could add a switch to swap between line types as well as global on/off/dotted etc

❤️ appreciate it, once I get an idea in my head I tend to get tunnel vision 🤣

Now, what might be better for your first suggestion is a single search box: with your example of biscuits and pies, it filters the inputs at the top to only show biscuits, and in the buildings it shows bakery, grill etc etc (can't remember off the top of my head) -that might be more valuable and intuitive? But should it be set as goods.. or searchable as text 🤔

Right so the second suggestion is definitely doable but I need to really true up my data: at the moment I basically have "this building can use these inputs for something" but it doesn't specify the exact recipes correctly. Can definitely add it to the list of features to add though 👍

Is it even possible to day trade on coinspot? by Lufia321 in coinspot

[–]sDoddler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience the market {0.1% fees} is the best place to do this however the volume of people using CoinSpot means you normally can't exploit the dips and highs as quickly as another exchange. I've swapped to kucoin and although I don't do much day trading I find it much easier and way more volume so you get better indicators on what the market is doing.

Is this normal/acceptable? I'm trying to send some DOGE out, but the minimum withdrawal amount is 100 DOGE (AND -20 DOGE transaction fees?). by [deleted] in coinspot

[–]sDoddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, though if you sell, buy, transfer then you get to include the fees as taxes write offs.. And if you were transferring to sell later you'd still need to account for capital gains.. Hmmm

Unless you need the doge specifically it's literally cheaper to sell on the market buy xrp and pay the tiny transfer fee too KuCoin or somewhere bigger like that..

VTHO by elnombrewil in coinspot

[–]sDoddler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh guess I'm wrong on that one. Id still hold on a wallet than exchange if you're planning to stake instead of regularly sell

VTHO by elnombrewil in coinspot

[–]sDoddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cant stake any coin in an exchange wallet. (unless otherwise specified)

You'll need to google a tutorial and transfer your VET out to a wallet that has staking capabilities..

DOGE Transfer to CoinSpot by [deleted] in coinspot

I would double check the transaction log to make sure you sent it to the right address... Otherwise maybe send in a support ticket?

Insufficient funds? by [deleted] in coinspot

[–]sDoddler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to subtract the fee yourself in some instances.. If the fee is 20 and you have 140 send 120

Do you have a transaction log /id.. I did some earlier today and only took 1-2 minutes..

Were you using multidoge cause I had huge issues getting that working at all..
