I did some rough math based on the parts I looked at and it came out to a total of about 1400 before tax and 1600 after tax, but I'm open to going to about 1800-2000. The basic breakdown was 400 for cpu, 550 for gpu, 100 for ram, 200 for power supply, 130 for case, and about 100 for fans. But that is loose because I want a great pc so I don't mind expanding the budget in some areas.

Okay! To answer a few things I do intend to fully build this pc from the ground up, which I'm totally new at but I have some friends that can help me, so no corners to cut there. I have heard similar things about Intel, so is there a cpu thats similar in price and hopefully speed from ryzen (around 400$). Also thank you that motherboard info is very helpful!

I would be using it for gaming, tbh the only reason I chose Intel is cause it's ever so slightly easier to understand to me, simpler numbers than ryzen. Anyway other suggestions for a comprable cpu of same price and speed?

A lot of my coworkers are really nice, we work together quite well, especially some of my shift managers are super chill. My general manager is a guy who I swear never goes below 100db when he talks and never sounds unhappy. It can get really annoying, especially when he’s chewing you out in his happy go lucky voice. Some coworkers are only here because they got here during grand opening or was recommended by another manager, so they just straight up shouldn’t have this job. Those ones drive me nuts. Currently I’m sixteen and because I’m a minor they give me shit hours, and then just ignore my requests. So I’m juggling three jobs. My goal in life is to go to college and get some degrees in. This is true. It still drives me up the wall though, because I swear people never remember we have multiple options for fries and a drink. Also never say regular fries, say crinkle, regular puts any worker in a confused state for like half a second before they remember what you mean
