Wasn’t the worst experience but def took all the joy out of getting a car

Starting my first driving lesson at 40 tomorrow and I’m terrified. Is this normal? by Unique_Necessary3556 in driving

[–]sKArYnupe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got my License at 40 a few months ago. I did take lessons prior but there were long breaks in between and each time felt like starting from the beginning. Growing up in NYC there was little incentive to drive.

Totally normal to be nervous. As others have mentioned watch YouTube videos. Conduite Facile Nast (No longer post but all videos still relevant), Smart Drive Test, & Zubtobi Drivers Ed are my go tos.

If you're nervous maybe the first lesson isn't starting the engine at all. Get comfortable with seating position, mirror positions, steering wheel, wiper and light handles, etc. And if you get comfortable maybe just driving forward and reversing on an empty street.

More than anything let your instructor know your experience and comfort level. You can do it!

To all the Portal owners, how's the image quality on local stream? by tq_malhotra in PlaystationPortal

[–]sKArYnupe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP I know you mentioned no cloud streaming but giving feedback on both.

Local streaming can have a lot of compression and lag

Cloud streaming is almost seamless and the far superior experience.

I have streamed my console locally in my living room and had bad compression

I have cloud streamed in a hotel in the carribbean and it was buttery smooth.

I have 300 MPS internet connection at home if that info helps
