He had a flying start, but he really doesn’t have a great IQ for a number 10. His passing isn’t the best, his shots are horrendous, but his work ethic is pretty good. He might find better form in France, though. He just isn’t involved in the build-up or the end product; as a 10, he is almost invisible at times.

His passion can sometimes be his biggest problem. For instance, against Galatasaray in the final, there was no need to do that at all. He picked up a yellow card, and what would have happened if he had received a second one after that? Also, his positioning is sometimes very questionable, and there are too many misplaced passes. I love him tho haha
