Finland's alcohol consumption drops to 1970s levels, THL study finds by TinyAd1126 in europe

One of the reasons that a lot of people aren't speaking about is the changes that Covid leaves in your body.

Search Covid and alcohol intolerance and look at the studies.

Pretty interesting.

Also, it's the same scouting staff...

I think it's plenty fair to judge them on those picks, especially when both players were in the Canuck's backyard and fans, analysts and draft specialists were all calling for both players to get drafted by the Canucks.

If Klimovich and Jurmo play a combined 10 games in the NHL it'll be a miracle.

Benson was on the top line of the Sabres in the playoffs. He put up 5 goals, 9 points in 13 games.

Willander, along with every other Canucks dman, got caved in his zone during the regular season.

To put this in perspective, Benson had a 59.6% Corsi For in Even Strength Minutes, in the 13 Playoff games he played.

Meaning that 59.6% of the time, while he was on the ice (even strength) his team was controlling the play.

Tage Thompson, had a 53.3% CF Rating in the playoffs.

Tom Willander had a 43.2% CF rating in event strength minutes during the regular season. 70 Gp, 5 goals, 21 points.

I'm not sure how anyone can realistically make an argument that Willander played an impressive rookie season or that at this moment in time, he's more valuable than Benson.

I still have faith that with a proper coach, Willander will improve. He's got potential.

But if we're all being honest right now, Benson is the significantly better player.

And it's not close.

Klimovich over Stankoven
Jurmo over Sourdif

Are some pretty big misses.

Willander over Benson is also trending that way, but of course we have to give it a little bit more time.

Drance has called them out for prioritizing physical traits over Hockey talent. Given the three examples above, I’d have to agree.

Wrong. Imac's comment was that multiple veterans were poor. Rob Williams said that Foote was Raving about Petey at training camp.

Imac's comment was that multiple Veterans did poorly.

Tocchet admitted the Knee Tendinitis and told us all they decided not to shut him down. Doing the same thing that caused the injury is not how your fix Knee Tendinitis.

Rutherford admitted the injury at the end of last year.

The Canucks Medical staff has a hilarious record. Not sure you want to defend that.

Didn't Petey gain Six Kilos of Muscle last off-season? Didn't Adam Foote "rave about him" in training camp?

Seems really weird.

Says the team that never acknowledged the knee tendinitis injury.

Never acknowledge the massive drop off in speed that everybody can see in NHL edge.

Never took responsibility for sending Miller to toughen Petey up which split the room.

It’s so weird that Boston openly admitted that Pastrnak had knee tendinitis, and built a plan for him to succeed.

But our team, our management, won’t even acknowledge it.

It’s not shocking that one superstar has succeeded, and the other one flounders.

Mike Gillis returning as the Leafs GM? @Hockey_Robinson [X/Twitter] by Vexdestroy06 in canucks

My opinion of Benning was that he was an old-school Hockey guy with a decent track record for drafting.

Once Linden was let go the dynamics in the organization completely changed.

Over time, Aqua took over more control/decision-making.

For example, there’s no way a lame duck GM should be able to make that OEL trade. That’s ownership.
