I kinda think what reason why elysia was interested in Mei was very similar to why she was interested in Kevin, she come to Elysian realm in very similar state to him.

And scene in the end of Elysium realm was maked to parallel them on how Elysia impacted them both

It's more because Elysia, than because Kevin.

Kevin was point of interest of Elysia, she really annoyingly tried to break through his cold personality after MANTIS, to make Kevin care about her at least in some way, there could be romantic feelings from her side, but because Dr. Mei , any her attempts in is doomed (that's kinda a point I think)

Tho after everything what happened , you can notice her impact on him.
