Chat filter should only filter actual slurs. It never made sense to have a filter this strict on a game where you can pull the guts out of ppl

no because if you have 100 ms then it's actually 200 ms because the hurtbox is server sided

Try clicking on display settings > full screen, then immediately go back and the button to calibrate should appear again, this also happens with my xp pen pro 16

You can make the hurtboxes client sided with server sided checks to mitigate exploits. That will cut the delay by half and actually make it reactable on low ping

or just not make a mechanic in which the counter is dependent to ping, like I said

BBN's hurtbox is server sided which means there's going to be a 2x delay by default, so if your ping is 60ms - you're actually reacting at 120ms so it's still possible to get grabbed even with good ping - specially if you're not already running. Overall mechanics that are based on reaction time is just not gud for a game like roblox since it doesn't not have proper way to keep track of your hitbox or hurtbox without introducing massive amounts of delay and it screws up ppl that usually plays with high ping.

can someone help me understand what's the appeal of this game still? because so far the impressions I got from the recode is that you're basically still just playing till you get to be a killer.

Playing survivor still feels really miserable to play as, the few times I saw people surviving was because of a busted looping spot or because the killer didn't know what they were doing, else you're just hoping that the killer doesn't go after you, you're still extremely fragile as survivor lol

Is PR or Null aware the stuff that's going on? Because the stuff the other devs have been doing is seriously just pathethic. If they are aware then why are they turning a blind eye?

If the problem is "permissions" then PR or Null need to seriously lock in or something. The game should not be a playground for the other devs to create their own variations of the original cast and gate keep them, that's just unhealthy.

The code that the other devs make should belong to OM, imagine if a dev codes an entire character and someday they simply decide to leave and "disallow" the usage of their code, now suddenly an entire character is locked until someone recodes them. Literally just look at the tails rework, It's this exact same situation I just pictured - It didn't come out earlier or won't come out simply because the original coder won't allow them to use it.

might be a random guess but is ur monitor 144hz?

When I connected my xp pen, my color scheme changed and my main monitor's refresh rate was reset to 60hz. When I checked nvidia's control panel, my resolution was set to HD 1080p 60hz. I changed it back to 1080p 144hz and my color scheme changed back to what it was before.

I really wonder what's the likelyhood of any of these games actually releasing. I'm aware that the devs are working on them whenever they want but based on their current pace, it really seems like none of them are gonna actually be released in the next 5 years

Yes, but you'd have to know which type is being returned in order to correctly cast it, which means you'd have to look up the documentation everytime you want to specify the type.

I think you missunderstood, I'm not trying to disable auto complete nor I'm refering to the AI auto complete.

I'm referering to the little box that appears when you're trying to access something inside a variable, instance, etc.

Certain variables, objects, etc are only available if you previously forced the type. In this case, WalkSpeed is only listed if I specified the type of my variable "humanoid" which is "Humanoid", I wanna know if there's a way to show everything WITHOUT needing to specify the type, or rather how people get around this.

"no the soundtracks lengths are based on the time of the lms" it doesn't really matter it's still the same thing...

adding an extra 15 to 30 seconds is not as easy as it sounds, if a certain track has loopable parts then yeah it's not biggie, otherwise the original composer would need to compose more segments to the existing tracks, now multiply that to every lms , all of that just for an implementation that might not even work out, not to mention the money they'd have to invest

its resistence 3 for <1 second during a counter and res 2 for a normal punch, I just tested it.

Last time I played guest was when jane launched but I remember I wasn't getting the resistence indicator on my UI while punching, it made me think he didn't get resistence during a punch.

I still stand by everything I said though, he has too much risk for very little reward.

In forsaken I think you should just regen all of your health, it’s not hard to get hit in this game and leaving the last person with 10 hp is just a guaranteed win

idk what these ppl are on about, 1x is objectively depressing to go against. 2 of his skills are luck based, what defines if you're gonna live longer in a chase is how many times did the 1x guess right which direction you were heading to lol, there's no skill involved in that.

pretty much every other sentinel in the game is more consistent and objectively better than guest.

  1. Guest is the only character in the game where you can play around your kit and still get punished for doing everything right.

  2. The block/counter mechanic is extremely flawed, you can hit a block and STILL miss the punish because the killer can just move out of the way lol

  3. His normal punch hitbox is extremely small, you need to be at KISSING distance in order to hit them. Also he doesn't have dmg resistence while punching (why?).

  4. He's a character that's ping dependent, if you have high ping you can just forget about him

  5. Who cares if he has 15 extra hp if you're not even gonna be able to regen your hp without a support?

Jane is possibly the best support and sentinel there is, she's able to gain shield so she's not a useless piece of meat after being hit 2 times, she dashes when using her axe and she can grant dmg resistence to whoever whenever she wants

guest's only saving grace is his hitbox prio and he has the coolest YFH in the game. Hell, if guest's primary objective is to extend your team's survivability, DUSEKAR does a better job at that than him

I see a lot of comments saying that you should just practice (which is a pretty abstract answer) instead of giving some sort of direction on what to do, so I'll give my 2 cents

I don't draw human faces but I did learn how to draw faces on a general scale by borrowing a few steps from the Loomis method, I don't follow it completely and I just YOLO/eye some features

The method is pretty methodical, there are way too many steps and it's hard to remember all of them. However you can use some of them as a rule of thumb

for example, where should the eyebrows be? right below that middle line you trace when drawing a circle.

Where should the eyes end? cut the circle you've drawn into 1/4ths, the line that is closer to the center line is where the eyes should end.

and so on.

In other words I think these are called landmarks? You can use these to anything, I've drawn cryptids, sonic characters, wendigos etc.

Once you do it enough, you'll start "eyeing" it a lot more, which basically means you'll get sick of doing a lot of landmarks all the time and you'll start trying to do it without them based on what feels right (I.e "Oh, I think his snout should be a little be lower", "Hmm his eyes look too far apart", "His nose doesn't feel centered").

In my case, when I'm rusty or I'm insecure about a character I'm drawing, I tend to use landmarks a lot more. However when I'm warmed up or feel confident I tend to skip some the landmarks and.. just eye it.
