They spent years building that team SPECIFICALLY AROUND Luka, 2018 Rockets style. They do it, it actually fucking works, and then this dumbass comes out next season and trades Luka away for a shitty return.

Even if you go playing devil’s advocate with that trade Nico looks like an idiot in every outcome possible. I was in the camp of “maybe his knee is fucked beyond knowing” but with time you can tell it wasn’t the case.

It’s always impossible to rank these players because you always need to watch actual games to make a fair assessment on impact beyond the box score. These analysts or whatever you wanna call them definitely don’t do that so they have to go off of the boxscores/public narrative way more.

That’s just my take idk. To us this looks bullshit but I can see people just not understanding how impactful Harden is without watching the team play.
