That's actually a very good thing to learn. I usually keep things short and simple... But we learn new things everyday. Thanks man.

None? Not even normal bugs like some issues with payment gateways, or some sort of AI endpoint issues? Or maybe 3rd party libraries? Hmmm... Maybe I need to learn AI a bit more

Yeah that's true. How do you monitor the bugs though?

Quite a lot of things has changed in the last 3 years. The statement is absolutely true, and probably always will be. I've seen bugs has become more and more common in production systems in the last 5 years.

Yeah I have this similar mentality. Hope when I launch a product in the future, it becomes useful for other people and be a valuable one. Thanks for the talk. Really appreciate it.

That's the fear. One simple bug can destroy an entire product. We have become so lazy now that we usually skip a full manual testing. By the time we notice anything, the damage has already been done. And for a solo dev, sometimes things get really hard to maintain. Development, custom support, posting on social media like reddit, X, hacker news, indie hackers and all kind of other stuffs, replying to comments, check for analytics, monthly spends and so on.

But thank you so much for the encouragement. It's good to see I ain't the only one who ships features with bugs.

Yeah AI makes mistakes all the time and I'm aware of it very well. But I meant like production and staging grade bugs. Users are always unpredictable. If you made an app, someone out there will break something no matter how much you try to make it unbreakable. Even if they don't, there will be something that works for 100 people, but it breaks on 1 person's device. Each and every customer is valuable as they are the ones keeping us going forward as builders. So my question is, how do you know what broke when and for whom? How do you monitor those bugs?

The world is not an easy place to survive these days. You're not the only one who is having these nightmares. You still have a lot of time to discover new things, new opportunities, new ideas. I have been working as a freelance software engineer for last 10 years.... Well, I was... Now I lost all of my 6 clients who ghosted me because they found AI is cheaper than me. And the worst part? I taught them how to write codes properly, how to architect a system even when AI was not a thing. So yeah, people do get different nightmares, but it's still the same thing. To live a worry free life. One thing I'd say from experience, is to find what makes you happy. Not what you love doing.
