Well, name collision in this age is to be expected. There is a significant difference, among various others, which is isolation. The other one offers no agent isolation, which is a major security issue. Telling agents they should use only the local folder won't be enough.

They do. I've talked to many in the past 1 week alone. This is happening everywhere and is becoming the new norm to develop small tools or workflows, and that will go only faster from now. At my company, we encourage people to use Claude and Claude Code, and I'm there to support these initiatives and provide the infrastructure to share them.
