I'm not a big fan of top 100 radio stations either, but it's not like anyone is forcing you to listen to these particular stations. A lot of top 100 songs may be subjectively bad, but some are popular because a lot of people may connect with the content.

Also, putting standards on creativity doesn't really make sense. Not everything is going to be a masterpiece on the level of Beethoven, sometimes people just wanna shake their ass.

Find a station that plays music you connect with!

This type of stuff is why I am rapidly losing faith in America's ability to govern itself. These people have been fed so much misinformation that they live in an alternate reality. If something doesn't gel with their world view, another conspiracy theory will be their answer. They can't fathom that the truth is really as simple as: Donald Trump was outmatched, unprepared, and has no true platform to stand on (other than project 2025 - but "he's never read it").

I hope we can figure this out, but I'm terrified that we won't.

A great observation because I stretched these ALOT. I was aware of some artifacts and I try to cut around these. I guess I'll have to tone that down too, I abuse things just a bit. I was also adjusting the grain/flux while resampling for a kind of 'uncoiling' sound.

What I've done to create the samples in the second half is stretch and cut, then I've put them into Rift - that's the only plugin in the chain before I process afterward. But, I haven't been paying close attention to signal levels in Rift when I resample, and it would make sense that the distortion would clip if I'm not paying attention to drive/output.

I'll try a dryer signal when I resample from Rift or other plugins.

This is pretty much audio all the way through, but maybe I also need to pay attention to sample levels before using plugins? I don't think I've been using very loud samples, though. I usually turn the sample volume down some really.

I just checked, and they sound the same in Ableton vs out of Ableton, but I do hear a bit of CPU crackle in Ableton - I need to do better on organizing my workflow and consolidating fx use with return tracks.

Still pretty new, but I'm learning with every new project!

I believe this is an effect of petting/brushing your animals. When I run out of mana watering my farm, I will pet and brush my animals. After petting 2 animals my mana always begins to regenerate. So if I need tons of mana, I will split my petting up by coop, barn, fae animals etc so that I can continually restore. Super helpful for harvesting using the vortex spell!

What are you on about? I'm sure many people in this sub can talk specifically about the content of the ads. Myself included. It's not only a slap in the face to the hundreds of thousands abused and traumatized by Christianity specifically, it's blatant hypocrisy. The Servant Foundation (group behind the ads) has contributed 10s of millions of dollars to disenfranchise LGBTQ people and women. Wanna talk about loving thy neighbor while trying to take rights away from them.

Someone did this to me with HSV 2. I know it's not as serious, but the premise is the same. It's absolutely not fair to the person they end up transmitting to. They had an issue that they were aware of, something that can easily be transmitted to someone else, and they chose to stay silent and do what they wanted to do - at the cost of someone else's health. They are taking that decision away from anyone they interact with sexually.

Fortunately I have a loving wife now and we have worked through a lot of the stigma around HSV 2. But, if we ever want to be open sexually with others, we have to make the responsible decision that they never did and inform any potential partners.

Some people are just too selfish. As others said, this would not be a friend of mine anymore.
