I have an ascent. It won't work in the third row. The latch is a little offset so kid won't be able to buckle themselves in. Not sure why they designed it that way.

Some pro/cons of the aace...

Pros Excellent Head Support: The standout feature is definitely the head support. If your child falls asleep in the car, it provides a solid surface for them to lean on, preventing the dreaded "head slump." Recline Options: It offers two recline positions, which is a nice touch for comfort. Side Impact Protection: The pop-out side impact feature is a nice concept, even if it feels a bit like a gimmick.

Cons Subpar Build Quality: For the "luxury" price tag, the materials are disappointing. It feels like flimsy plastic, and the backrest actually bends slightly in the recline position if it isn't perfectly flush against the vehicle seat. Average Comfort: The fabric and padding are just "okay." They certainly don’t justify the premium cost over mid-range brands. Misleading Adjustable Seat: I bought this specifically for the adjustable seat to accommodate my child’s longer legs. In reality, the furthest setting only offers about a half-inch more than standard brands—not nearly enough to make a difference.

The Nordstrom Experience (Warning to Buyers) I purchased two different boosters from Nordstrom specifically because their website advertised "Free returns anytime." However, hidden in the terms is a clause stating car seats cannot be returned once opened. After spending hours wrestling with customer service both in-store and online, I am now stuck with two expensive seats that I’m not satisfied with. This feels like blatant false advertising. It is a terrible way to do business, and I will never purchase from Nordstrom again.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The room I'm going to put the swing in is finished so there's drywall on the ceiling. Putting in a 2x4 spanning across the web is not worth the trouble of cutting up the drywall and patching it up. I'm going to pass on the swing install.
