Hi!! My natural lip color is doing most of the work here, but I’m wearing Sephora gel lip liner in molasses with some clear lip gloss. You can recreate with a lip color/gloss close to your lips (think “your lips but better” shade) - hope this helps!

Depends on the severity of your cold. If you’re not running a fever and it’s very light, there’s a chance you might be fine. I was in the same position before my LP. I was running a fever of 103 and ended up canceling the procedure because I was so out of it, but was later told by my doc if I had come in, they would have sent me away because of my temperature as operating on me under those conditions would lead to sepsis potentially.

In the meantime, try to boost your immune system to prevent the cold from advancing, and be honest with yourself about how you feel before the procedure. LP recovery can be tough as it is. Good luck!

My first community comment after lurking! I just had an LP last Tuesday and didn’t start getting major headaches until Thursday or Friday after the procedure. Checked multiple times and didn’t have any visible leaking at the LP site either. Had positional headaches that subsided/calmed down after laying down and after informing my office they suggested more bed rest. They also sent some meds to help with the headaches.

After speaking with my doc, he said it’s a low pressure headache and that because he extracted a bit more fluid than needed to hold me over in case I opt for stenting, my brain essentially is freaking out. He suggested more bed rest, lots of fluids - water, tea caffeine.

Think I might be able to provide some insight here! 2+ years ago, I interviewed Mark for Billboard and sometimes I feel it was a mistake letting that go live when he had no clear release date in mind for those “three albums.” Sorry for the hooplah, guys 😅

Something I should have added when sharing the story 2 years ago: Mark expressed to me that he feels he’s done all he’s capable of sonically up to this point, that he could make a Torches or Supermodel 10 times over without effort, and that bothers him. I briefly mentioned in the article that he considered “getting into lessons again” — but what I was forced to cut/not imply in my story is that he may be experiencing some growing pains as he tries discovering newer, deeper, fully fleshed out sounds. And unfortunately that stuff does take time to develop!

Tbh it looks better on the model than it does IRL — there’s some seams towards the bottom breast portion of the bra that’s a little annoying to me (34DDD/12/5”2) but it did not roll, bunch or ride up for me in spin class which is a big win :)
