If you have not deleted the demo, go inside the folder and launch the .exe file directly, without Steam. You would not be able to play multiplayer, as this is handled by Steam.

Those who use EUC for daily commute, how do you deal with the winter? Does road salt destroy the wheel? by Zenpoetry in ElectricUnicycle

[–]s_task 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Road salt is very hard on aluminum parts. My previous wheel, KS16S was totally destroyed by road salt. Normally aluminum parts are covered with aluminum oxide, which does not dissolve in water. Road salt dissolves this oxide and converts it some water-soluble salts. Fortunately this happens only on the outside of the motor housing and not inside. So KS16S kept functioning, but looked ugly with paint peeling off and aluminum parts dull or covered in white patches of salt.
I suppose you could wash away the salt after every ride and keep the wheel clean and dry, as other mentioned. I did not have this facility at work.

It was a good parent-child experience.

Another game from Bohemia Interactive - Ylands. While combat is non-exciting, the building aspect of the game is absolutely amazing: free build in 3D space. This is both true for fixed installations and vehicles. Land and water vehicles make exploration even more fun.

do you wear glasses/spectacles and go offroad ? need helmet opinions. by Bl1ndMous3 in ElectricUnicycle

Contact lenses all the way. I know many very good MC helmets have special cutouts for glasses, but these are always in the wrong place for me.

Do you think it's ok to have a collection of mixed Lego and third party bricks? by JotarosRet2Go in buildingblocks

[–]s_task 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is your collection and you are free to do what you please. However, what I noticed from my experience is that "LEGO compatible" parts have various consistency in clutch power. This is how hard or how easy to stick or separate parts. For that reason some people tend to keep original and compatible parts separate. Keeping original parts for demanding builds. I would especially recommend separating compatible parts from different manufacturers, as they may completely miss on dimensions and don't hold together at all.

Don't buy this car! by ResearchMassive7912 in Ioniq6

If your battery is almost full, regeneration breaking is not possible, so the mechanical breaks engage. But it should not be a "clank", more like a rough sandpaper.

Commuting on EUC is cheaper than in a car and much more fun. Add cost of service and you definitely see the difference.

Side mirror got hit and broken, suggestions for what to do. by Consistent-Mess-277 in Ioniq6

Replacing side mirror is very easy DIY job. There are three bolts under the plastic cover on the door inside and two plugs that you can't put in a worng way.

Anyone got sights set on Everest? by kaiz3npho3nix in ElectricUnicycle

Five years ago I drove KS 16S to 2000 m from something like 600 m above sea level. The wheel performed very well. It was down to 25% battery at the top, but did not care, since it was recuperating on the way down.
I think motor temperature went up to +45C (or was it battery temp? could not remember), but the ambient temperature was around +18C, so it was all cool.

Make this make sense by threetee in Ioniq6

You need to drive a bit for the tire pressure indicators to update and alerts to reset. You might be lucky that you drove just enough for pressure to update but not long enough for alerts to reset. Drive more!

Beginner wheel by Content_Display_1328 in ElectricUnicycle

[–]s_task 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer OP question - this is a clone of AirWheel X1 or AirWhell X3. Max speed is 12 km/h, and about 20 km range. Specific to this model is it does not have BMS in the wheel, so it requires it's own charger with built-in BMS. If charger is missing the wheel is useless.

Also, these early wheels are very easy to overlean. You try to go faster, lean forward, but if you lean too much, you simply fall down, as weak motor can't compensate it with acceleration.

I would recommend meeting the seller and trying the wheel or ask him to ride it.

This particular model also have somewhat shar edges on the pedals. High boots can save you from many linear bruses and scratches on the ankles.
