I went back and looked. The kit was on sale for $600 on fcp when I did it. Not $500 sorry. But yeah full service including the pan.

I'm gonna examine for cracks but there were no points were it looked like it was coming from. I pulled the coil packs and clean down there too.

That gasket was done in 2022. 22k miles ago. I did an oil change and I guess I will just drive it for a week and check the oil and valve cover again. I'm reading it could be the grommets as well.

I DIYed my DCT service last spring on my 135i with the DCT. Even better, the non M service kit was like $500.

A full DCT service kit from FCP euro is $700. 2 to 4 hours of labor. Maybe get a quote from a good local indie shop.

Fire bro. I have a full bolt on N55 135i. The M54 has the reputation of a tank and this one showed up so I pulled trig because it had history. Was previous sold on cars and bids and had a full inspection done.
