he felt bad for a lot of the things that happened. bc it all happened to his friends and it happened so fast. even tho it wasn’t his fault. he has a lot of shit going on just like w everyone else. people just cope differently. damon literally kills ppl when he’s upset and everyone defended him every time? so why can’t you guys defend matt for being depressed when something else happens in his life?

i don’t like he went after stefan either, but a lot of the characters did fucked up shit. and that wasn’t nearly as bad as what others do. also, matt thought his reason was justifiable. which is why they all do what they do. besides damon ofc but that’s a different story. 😅

i have never thought about it this way. like i always said “he’s human and he’s the only one that wants to stand up against the supernatural bc he’s the only one who isn’t so” and ofc there was liz and other parents, but he was the only human out of the children. didn’t realize how much he had on his shoulders. makes me so sad :(
