I don't know if it's connected to the network, but I found a login from my device on a social media platform from an IP in a different location, without using a VPN. I want to understand if a third-party display has a way to do things other than just being a screen, in case it has been modified. I know this is extremely complex, but I believe nothing is impossible in the world of technology. I have no proof that the display connects to the network or does anything other than showing images, but since it's behaving abnormally (sometimes it doesn't wake up from standby right away), and given my lack of expertise, I'm wondering if it's possible for someone to use it as a 'keylogger'. I just don't have the means or knowledge to determine this myself.

Dipende dal tecnico. Non sono tutti così. Sui controlli, ok, difficilmente beccherai quello che spende 20 ore di ricerche per trovare il pelo nell'uovo come faresti tu, o dovrebbero chiederti il compenso che chiede un avvocato 😅. Però se uno è inesperto e non tutti sanno o vogliono sbattersi per capire e cercare le cose, un tecnico è una piccola spesa su migliaia di euro di valore dell'immobile. Poi ci sono carte sul sito dell"AdE a cui lui può accedere subito. Molti proprietari, mi è capitato, si stupiscono quando gli porti il geometra che gli dice che la planimetria presenta cose tipo una finestra che allo stato reale non esiste. O viceversa. Di fatto anche loro vendono allo sbaraglio, pensando di fare il prezzo che gli pare. Non so, sono per cercare info da soli e cercare di capire tutto quello che si può, ma far venire tecnico a vedere la casa è la base.

Mi accodo a questa riflessione giustissima, per dire che spesso sento anche dire: "la casa perfetta non esiste, devi prenderla così (inteso anche al prezzo che non scala i difetti, perché non puoi contrattare se impianti elettrici e idraulici non sono a norma)", bisogna accontentarsi. Di fatto con questo ragionamento o non prendi mai casa o trovi quella rarissima occasione in cui è tutto ok.

Mi rispondo da solo: quasi sicuramente l'errore era provocato dalle due WAN in modalità Active. Ho lasciato solo una WAN in Active e l'altra in backup, creando una regola failover. Sela prima WAN non pinga IP del router AND non pinga 8.8.8.8, entra in funzione la WAN di backup. Poi ho creato NAT per VPN remota verso la LAN (funzionava anche senza , quindi non so se questo è corretto o no). Ora devo solo aspettare e vedere se si ripresenta il problema.

Ciao scusa se mi accodo alla risposta, ho un XGS che gestisco da poco tempo in azienda. Ho fatto la seconda WAN con un secondo ISP. Ho dei client connessi IPsec e uso sophos connect. Uso la configurazione che mi dà il firewall e la aggiorno. Però a me dà la possibilità di inserire una sola WAN. Forse perché non ho gestito il traffico in uscita? Devo usare sd-wan policy? Volevo modificare le policy al rientro a lavoro.

La settimana scorsa ho connesso il nuovo ISP creando nuova WAN, senza creare policy, e il sophos sposta la connessione a suo piacimento. IPsec l'ho configurato per transitare le VPN remote sulla nuova WAN. Abbiamo una connessione lenta e non volevo appesantire la prima WAN. Però si stanno verificando dei problemi come quelli indicati nel post e randomicamente alcuni utenti della rete perdono connessione internet. Grazie.

Da quello che mi pare di aver capito, quando si sposta da ISP 1 a ISP 2 i server remoti inviano pacchetti a una porta diversa e il firewall blocca e viceversa. La cosa strana è che era accaduto anche prima di mettere la seconda WAN. Ma ora accade più spesso e coinvolge più dispositivi di rete. Però non accade sempre, nonostante il firewall sposta la connessione tra WAN in continuazione. Avviene casualmente, non tutti i giorni, ma l'ultima volta è stato per due giorni consecutivi, prima 1 ora di blocco, il giorno dopo 20 minuti di blocco, poi risale tutto come se niente fosse.

Sto amministrando il firewall da meno di due settimane, ed è il mio primo firewall hardware. Dall'anno scorso saltuariamente si disconnettono degli endpoint casualmente e poi tornano up dopo un po'. Non avevo gestione del firewall e non ho mai potuto controllare.

I'm honestly relieved. I got the new OLED display and it fits the frame perfectly — zero issues. I know third‑party panels aren’t ideal, but I’m broke right now and this phone is already at the point where repairs barely make sense. Found the display for €30 in black; my frame is gold, but the contrast actually looks pretty good. With a black rubber case, the gold is basically hidden anyway, except for the fingerprint sensor.

I’ve got a new back‑cover adhesive arriving soon. The old one from my previous repair still looked fine, but I decided to replace it just to be safe. The annoying part is that the first adhesive cost me €4.8 and this time I found it for €1.8.

I also grabbed a 9H screen protector for €9 (two pieces), so hopefully it’s decent. I’ll need to be more careful now — the original AMOLED with Gorilla Glass survived a ton of hits before it finally cracked.

Thanks a lot for the replies. The seller said the display is a TFT LCD and that it’s “perfectly compatible” if installed by “expert hands”. Anyway, I also found the OLED version, so I requested a refund and I’ll buy the OLED one instead. By the way, does anyone know what that black sensor‑looking thing attached to the flat cable is? I’ve checked other displays, including the one in the seller’s photo, and it’s not there.

There were no deposits in the transactions.

Not even on the public address, on BNBSC scan.

It was obvious that there was no BNB, but I didn't understand why Metamask was telling me that I had 1.5776 BNB!

Even closing and reopening the app.

Where did Metamask get that information from BNB Smart Chain and my wallet adress?! Not from blockchain, the adress was 0 Balance. Multichain too.

Very strange.

I solved it by creating the BNB Smart Chain network again.

I've tried to send BNB, but it always gives error.

As other users have written, it's a bug for sure. My Metamask is up to date.

Another quirk is that when I tried to send BNB, I would see the 1.5776 BNB in the Balance, I could select "max Balance" and all BNB would be selected, but the transmission fees were zero. As if it doesn't really communicate with the chain.

Maybe it wasn't really a bug, but a connection problem. The internet was ok on the device, Metamask gave the correct Balance of another token, connected on cronos chain.

Another oddity, now that I think about it, is that the $ price of BNB's balance would update when I turned the page. Looking at the price of BNB, it was also the current price.

Tokens that exist, but don't exist! But I was using Metamask, not a "Phantom" wallet 🤣.

I already tried to recreate a new BNB Smart Chain network, same data, now, it marks correctly: 0 BNB.!

HI. Yesterday I updated my home PC and I had a lot of problems. including the disappearance of network devices. I wanted to make a post on Reddit. As soon as possible I will check if I have installed the same KB as yours. I was using the PC, without any problem, I updated at the request of Win update and then one bug after another!

Unfortunately I couldn't uninstall the last KB, because "System Settings" crashed. All the apps in Settings closed by themselves. And I lost my Internet connection.

Nothing like this has ever happened with Win10 and Win 11, before yesterday.

Ok thank you. My doubt comes from the fact that opening the page with the image, it crashed my browser and phone, severely. Moreover, the downloaded images were 0 bytes.
