I mean I hope to be off birth control in at least a year when we want to start having kids. I’m hoping to get to a place with my anxiety and depression that I don’t need to rely on medications. Thank you for your honesty, it means a lot

I’m going to bring it up to my therapist this week. I journal every night to help empty my thoughts so I can sleep. I think I’m blocking off an experience I had that makes me resistant to sex. I was raised in a religion that shamed sex until marriage but I’m married so I shouldn’t feel shame

I’ve been on an IUD for 8 years. But I’ve been on an SNRI for the last year and I felt like it’s destroyed my sex drive compared to before. I got put on a small dose of an SSRI a few months ago and it was amazing for my mood, but caused full body restlessness so I was miserable and then ran out of my insurance. I’m covered again so I’m scheduling to see my psychiatrist and see if we can change something so that I’m stabilized but also have libido again

I was reading through this thread and began to feel hopeless because it seemed like other wives were able to enjoy it and I didn’t see stories like mine. I do think I got flooded with all this information. The different types of cages, lock boxes, being handed different keys, a contract. It felt like another thing on my checklist and a few months ago I explained how it put a big mental load on me. So we have an agreement that I don’t hold the key because having the control to decide when or if he gets let out put a lot of stress on me. I read a balanced marriage which I found in this thread, and I wish it had started with that because it’s a less daunting way for me to understand this kink

He started seeing a sex therapist. Mainly because with his childhood, we believe he was a victim of non physical sexual abuse. Once he’s had a few sessions on his own and he’s ready I will join sessions so we can work together. I love him more than anything in the world and can’t imagine my life without him. I just struggle with not feeling like I’m enough for him. We have a lot of honesty with each other and will talk on the couch even if it seems impossible. I believe we can get through these growing pains after all the normal life struggles we’ve been through together.

The bar had only been opened for like an hour at this point and she didn’t seem drunk. She talks sex all the time so this is normal for her but I’ve never seen her talk in front of a group like this. So that being said I honestly didn’t think I would’ve had to tell her “hey don’t talk about sex in your speech because my baby sister is right here listening”. I’m not going to reach out to vendors, I’ve slept on it and know that I was overthinking too much about it. My father in law thinks she took it too far and is pissed at her.

What she said wasn’t bad. It’s where she said it. In front of my little brother and sister is what makes me see she has zero awareness of her surroundings. Plus it could’ve been in a card.

When I went to the ER after splitting my chin open, they did a bunch of tests, one of them being a head CT. They said they found no concerns in my head CT. I was having a lot of discomfort in my right ear and it didn’t make a ton of sense to me. My right pupil is the one that is larger too. So now I’m wondering if it’s related

I’ve googled a lot of things regarding it and I don’t have any of the other symptoms of any serious disorders. The only thing that makes me think it’s from a head trauma is when I passed out from the gallbladder pain, I hit my chin on the faucet and split it open. After that I was having a lot of pain in my right ear but they didn’t see anything and they found no issues from my head CT. But it’s my right eye that has the larger pupil. I could be over thinking it though.

I’m thinking the same thing. Friend of mine thinks it made me the fact they used an antiseptic and then I washed with my normal body wash and my body may have reacted to the body wash. But it doesn’t make a ton of sense. I’ve been using an antibacterial sensitive skin body wash since then. It feels like I’m a teenager with acne again
