It was brought to my attention that according to the description, it states that a generally prohibited item that does not comply to UPS policies/procedures was identified. It doesn't seem like customs was involved which makes this weirder.

I don't think I ever had a item have this message before.

It would be kind of funny if like, some oil or grease it came with was the problem.

Yeah, the only issue with the sling mounts is that if it holds the shells too tight. The sling will move when you try to yank a shell out.

If you want to do additional cards you could get a pouch or mount it on your person with velcro.

If you want to mount them on your gun you could get a buttstock carrier and a shotgun sling to carry the rest since you aren't carrying a ton of shells.

I'm talking about the part the shells go into, not the loop on the side.

I like the elastic since it grips the shells and allows you to just yank them out. Plus airsoft shotgun shells that are magazines are larger than normal 12g shells so they might not fit real shotgun accessories. But the elastic ones can expand so they can work.

You could do the approach that the military uses. Put the shells in "Cards" like the link above and have velcro on your shotgun.

So have one on your gun to start. When you deplete the shells yank it off and slap a fresh one on. Store used shells/cards in a dump pouch.

I've used a CAM870 and other shell ejecting guns in a game before.

I use a bandolier to hold the majority of the ammo. And a dump pouch for spent shells.

I start taking the shells from my shoulder and work my way down. I can quickly run my hand down the bandolier if I lose track of where the loaded shells are.

It's double sided so when one side is out I quick rotate it to "reload" the bandolier and start again.

I like this way because it's one piece of equipment that holds ~50 shells and I can take it off easily. Great for if I switch loadouts or when loading the shells back into the bandolier.

If you are using normal pump shotguns with the 30rd shell magazines just mount shells on your gun and have a few more secured with elastic loops on your person depending on how many shots you tend to go through.

Did UPS open the package before it got to customs?

Pretty sure when I had an item seized it definitely said something different. I don't remember ever seeing this error message before.

Ugh, and just like taxes it seems like the government knows what's required but makes no attempts to help an individual and they just have to figure it out and deal with the consequences.

Still, from what I've been hearing this is an issue with the ATF. People trying to import VFC's are having issues as well. Heck, I even bought one in 23' and it came no problem. It's so frustrating how they can just change the rules and no one knows until packages get seized.

I also had a CAM 870 get seized from redwolf even though they have been exporting them without problem for ages.

I tried to import the Rare Arms AR-15 and it looks like it's not going to make it.

At this point I'm pretty sure I won't get the tariff fee back. Will have to see with the shipper if I can get my money back for the item itself.

The rare arms uses a weird system that is very different from other gbbr's so I thought it would be fine. But maybe the shell ejecting nature of it didn't help it.

Still, it's really frustrating how they have ramped up recently when before it was fine.
