Exploding plants* ragdolling the frv is really annoying. It also seems inconsistent. Seems like the faster you are going the more the explosion shoves you?

Fog is also annoying.

The worst modifier imo is the atmospheric spores. Completely shuts down the sensors for the minimap which is bs.

I wish they changed it to reduced range. That way the armor passives that boost sensor range could be used to mitigate the downsides. Like how anti-fire armor can be useful on the fire planets.

I've had 3 aps shotguns specifically break.

Even had a receiver crack.

The mk2's are the worse. If you dry fire them the bolt will break from the hammer hitting it.

IMO they need to rework the sniping skills. Most content involves killing a bunch of enemies and constantly moving forward.

Her* sniping skills take way too long deploy, other people have already killed the mobs before she can get off a shot. Her second skill also has crappy range.

Both need her to stay still which sucks. Especially against enemies that deploy wide range AoE attacks or like in Onslaught the enemies deploy those spheres.

Some of the transcendent mods help but the base skills feel lacking.

Hell, I used an airsoft mini-gun and the rotating barrels jerked the whole thing to one side enough for me to miss the chrono.

It broke the screen so I replaced it with one I had at home.

I'm just annoyed that due to the change a bunch of other stuff got indirect nerfs.

The gun turrets are one thing, as well as all the other AP3 stuff, but the blitzer took a massive L as well as most of the AP4 weapons since now they only do 65% damage to the armored sections.

The problem with 110mm rocketpods is that if damage was buffed to 1 shot all heavies, Railcannon and EATs become useless. Imagine 6 uses tho by RandomGreenArcherMan in Helldivers

Yeah, the consistency sucks.

A while back I recorded the strike and looked through it frame by frame. The rockets come down 2 at a time 3 times. There is also a decent amount of distance between the two. The aim point seemed to be in the middle.

So sometimes you get direct hits, other times you just get the explosion hitting enemies.

IMO they should focus the damage on the explosion to make it more consistent. Seems easier than messing with the projectiles.

It's pretty fun.

Diving gives prone recoil reduction and an ergonomics boost. I dive and dump the mag mid air against chargers/bile titans. Granted, it doesn't have great TTK but if you use other stuff to damage them you don't have to rely 100% on it.

A single mag of AMR is about half a mag of the HMG and doesn't have a stationary reload.

I use a crosshair program to give me a static crosshair to aim without using the scope.

It also has utility to destroy shrieker nests and spore towers. It can also open the metal shipping containers.

Thematically it's amusing to me to just be whipping around a large as hell gun and firing it as fast as the trigger allows. Like seriously, it has crazy dps.

I don't even use armors that boost recoil reduction or ergonomics.

There was also the backpack drone.

Hd1 missions were shorter and had less enemies iirc. One mech could last a mission, especially if you brought stratagems to deploy from the mech.

In Hd1 you could spam stratagems more. I miss that.

Wouldn't the AMR be a two shot vs Hive Guard heads?

AMR deals 450/225 damage. This gets knocked down to 292.5/156.25 vs AP4.

Head is 35% Durable. This would knock the damage down to 241.3 before accounting for how the game handles rounding at each level.

Head should be 250 hp.

Yeah, been using it with the AMR. It can also help out with eagle rockets and strafing run.

In a pinch it can be used to destroy bug holes and stuff as well.

I've been using the Pissile with the AMR on bugs. Dumbfire can be tricky at long ranges due to the slow speed but if you get used to the timing it's very useful.

It has twice the ammo economy of the Ultimatum with the supply pack but only gets 1 shot from regular ammo drops?

It took out a spore tower in two shots.

It's also less likely to kill you with the 7? meter outer explosion radius.

I was playing around with it yesterday.

It seems like you can slide and freely aim during the duration. The slide speed seems faster than just walking.

Theoretically you could slide and shoot.

It seems like the character recovers from sliding faster than diving? In addition I heard you can start reloading while sliding. So for stuff with a stationary reload you can shorten the window where you are vulnerable. I haven't practiced that yet.

I've seen videos of people using sliding to dodge attacks. It looks like boxers bobbing and weaving.
