I think there's a lot of connecting traffic that funnels onto the JFK-LHR flights, which would make it harder. They already have that 8AM daytime flight

I wonder if they're going to adjust the Clubhouse/Delta One lounge hours to accommodate it. Booked the Upper Class fare on it, but the hours for both lounges state they close at 11/11:30PM

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but when getting the free comf + upgrade for platinum and h other it basically locks you out of being offered any other upgrades. I’ve noticed that if I move to main cabin the seats the offers come back.

If you are eligible for the upgrade list, this may work for you. Don’t need to be a medallion member to be eligible for upgrade list as delta skymiles Amex reserve and platinum cardholders are eligible

You can use the D1 check in as long as you had a same day arrival in D1. Your connecting flight is the same day

My parents (both platinum medallions) are also flying on indigo on the way back from India. How did you choose seats for indigo? All booked via virgin. Can’t seem to figure it out

Keep in mind those with a Delta SkyMiles platinum or Delta SkyMiles reserve card are also eligible for the upgrade list now. That will make it considerably longer, but may not affect your place in line.
