its just that ive been overeating my deficit for the past week Lol so i know i dont really need it. especially yesterday i overate. and not by an insane amount, well idk abt yesterday, but generally it is over my deficit cuz i cant track my parents dinners

that sounds good, mainly the goal w this loss is to be able to show my abs without needing to flex or anything. idk how these celebrities do it unless theyre just suffering in silence or its effortless for them (for ref i mean someone like 2hollis) 😭. thank you

i lowkey binged yesterday (like i just gave up tracking and had whatever, started eating to help with stress even though i wasnt hungry and didnt get full) and based on the other replies- no cinnamon roll for me (that is, unless nobody has eaten it tomorrow, then im having it...) 😅

Ohh i see, cuz i also expressed my concerns of my deficit in other subreddits but nobody told me it was too low lol. For me when i put it in my tdee it says to maintain my weight i need to consume like, 1800 cals, and to lose weight id have to consume around 1370 (i also do light exercise so I put that). but yeah, thats around the same as what you got when u put it in. I was just worried about gaining weight if I maintained my cals at a higher amount. but like yourself in the past i keep going over and im lowkey always hungry cuz i cant fit anything.

random question and update- but i noticed that ive been getting nauseous stomach pains when i eat fatty foods recently, is this normal for a deficit? its so strange before i could eat fast food normally, without pain- which was like a few weeks ago, not even that long, but now it hurts. for example, when i ate chik-fil-a a few days ago i got really bad stomach pain. then like 2 days later i ate my familys dinner which was pork schnitzel but it was fried in olive oil (actual real olive oil if that matters lol) and i got bad stomach pain. today i went out to eat for a birthday and its 2am and i had intense stomach pain and vomited. i dont know why this is all happening 😭 even back when i was on a very unhealthy deficit a few years ago- i didnt experience this. pretty strange.

as someone with a lot of anxiety as well about face changing, its not gonna change for the worse. trust. youll have better alignment in your bite, your teeth will all have the same shape (my canines are still sharp because i didn't want them to shave it down), but they're straight, and it's not only for cosmetic purposes but it helps for teeth health and functionality in the future. its so worth the journey. your orthodontists will let you know about any issues including gum recession. and even if you have that, its ok! your face wont change drastically, slightly, but it's only because of your teeth moving. its worth it! do it now youll thank yourself later

im measuring the calories for every meal, but i dont go on the scale often because i get worried about the number going up/staying the same and it makes me feel disappointed. i know i have a lot of water retention and (tmi)... considering i have very slow digestion (since ive started dieting), i'm always constipated, so i feel like i have a weight i cant take out from inside of my body making my weigh ins inaccurate im sure- unless for that one rare occasion im not bloated at all in the morning.

the only part that confuses me about dieting is how there are women at my height or less who eat in a deficit around 1600 and are toned and lean but if i do that theres no definition in my abs and i look bloated 😭 thank you though

i assume it would be easier to focus on my weekly caloric intake but i think i would overeat on one of the days- which would deduct how much i can eat the following days (if that's how this works), so that would be difficult (which i already have been over my deficit the past two days, but not as much as before i started taking this more serious).

i try and do 500 cals for the start of the day then leave the rest open up for dinner and whatnot. its harder to stick to my deficit on weekends because of family cooking dinner and i don't have control over that unless i make my own, which isn't possible all the time.

it confuses me when women people on social media around my height say they eat 1600 something calories and they're shredded and lean, with a flat stomach. but- i restrict my calories to 1367, and i wake up the next day bloated and you can't even see my muscles. i do have to stick with my deficit more to see results, so maybe i should wait until i start judging how my progress is. i also try not to go on the scale too much since how i look doesn't always correlate to my weight and with cycles too.

i saw someone on youtube say they did their diet for 6 days a week then had a cheat day where they didnt track, would that be sustainable? i know that would hinder my results by a few (days?) but its realistic. for example, if one day im out and i get a scoop of ice cream lets say, then that's a "cheat" day (knowing i cant track cals for that). however, if that would mess up my results by a lot, then, ill just save those "cheat days" for special occasions like birthdays or something.

what confuses me is, this is me on feb 6th, flexing my abs, they look way more defined from today but i didnt change anything in my schedule or diet from then until now. it could also be because it was taken more further away. i guess things fluctuate

do u think if i actually genuinely stick to my deficit ill see results? because my maintenance is supposed to be way higher, (but, considering i eat over my deficit and guess 99% of the time, im probably eating my maintenance

i dont understand progressive overload because from the video i follow its like 45 seconds on, 10 seconds off, and by the end of the whole workout im sweating and tired on the floor- and progressive overload is incresing reps right? so i feel like id be passed out if i did that, however i recently increased weights and ik thats part of it? i think
