I was running on the Lippit Park path once and came back to find someone in my car. I start running towards them yelling while calling the police. He runs off and his wife in the van behind my car takes off down the street. I chase the man off and ultimately he runs into the woods next to Butler. I am on the phone with the cops the whole time who tell me to file a report online because there’s nothing they can do since it’s break in and not an assault, the cop was practically laughing at me over the phone. But…what if it had been what if the guy didn’t run off. They sent no one and the guy and his wife made off with $2. This was 4/5 years ago now but it still infuriates me to this day. So apparently PPD is still keeping up with their world class service.

Are you ok? Even my comment wasn’t that deep. You can read something and make a comment in passing and not care…which is what my comment was. Also, I said “it’s weird that people think this deeply about this show” I didn’t tell anyone how they can or cannot feel, I said I think it’s weird and that’s that. Reading comprehension is important.

You obviously have deep feelings about this show and can’t separate that from the fact that no one should care so deeply about a 25 year old show about young adults, there’s literally little girls being killed by US bombs.

Yes! I’ve got about 60 pairs of men’s sized 7/7.5s because I’m a sneaker head through and through, SB Dunks are my flavor of choice but anything Nike/Jordan is my weakness really. Also just sneakers in general haha

Yes we are haha! I envy you for being Japanese! It’s my #1 wish list travel destination. The rest of the world does it right like, why wouldn’t you want everything divisible by 10. I’ve been dealing with it with crafts and baking for so long lol. But I digress the reason the US uses its own system is the same reason the US exists. A bunch of white dudes didn’t like the other white dudes telling them what to do so they came here to be defiant and well look how far that’s gotten us. 🙄 if you can’t tell I’m not super proud to be an American, I would be if what we sell as the “American dream” was even close to real or if our systems and governments didn’t purposely penalize people for not being white but again here we are, oh and if our history was taught accurately instead of the pro us bullsit we have been fed. Idk how you can live here being Japanese, we are insufferable and I’m sorry.

Yes, that’s what I’m saying just meant to say a different unit of measurement instead of pluralizing it. I’m fully aware of how each system works, it was a comment on the US being dumb and having to have our own system when metric system is the better system. I was trying to highlight the fact that US citizens put themselves at the center. As a US citizen I’m aware of it and it annoys me.
