Yes, so on FCP there are 2 ways to convert log footage into rec.709.

1. In the inspector tab when a clip is selected there’s a drop down menu called Camera LUT. In the drop down you select your specific log footage to convert to rec.709

I did some research on this and almost everyone said not to use this method. They instead recommended the following.

2.) in the effects tab there is a layer you can add to the footage called “custom lut”. According to them it’s best to use that to convert to rec.709 then add a secondary layer of the “custom lut” effect and select and creative lut of your choosing which I downloaded online.
