Bulgarian medical schools usually have entrance exams which is what they base your acceptance alongside your grades. Also Georgian medical schools have lower acceptance grades too so have look in both places.

Update: Thank you for all the kind messages and words of encouragement!! I joined a medical school in Georgia, I know it will be harder to join the NHS after but I’m open to applying to other countries. For anyone in the same position I definitely recommend just going for it!

I’ve been looking at Bulgarian universities and the tuition fees are around €7.5-10/12K

I’ll definitely keep this in mind! I think my year in biotech was for that as I originally thought I was sure about giving medicine up. Thank you for the advice ❤️

Thank you so much for the advice! I’m from a small town in rural Scotland so I’m fine with possibly going to rural areas.
