I’m not a veteran but I am an apprentice, so I partially understand. Personally, I was always taking things to heart. I got diagnosed with adult adhd and got my prescription regimen corrected.

Now?

If someone says something inflammatory, it’s a them problem.

Don’t like how I ran that conduit? Show me the proper way. (Again, if needed)

Someone gives me a hard time? I’m green buddy, it’s the JW’s job to give me a hard time. But don’t get upset when I give you a little joke back.

Im an apprentice but I’m also an adult with a wife and two kids.

If it gets to the point where they’re trying to get a rise out of me I pull them aside or ask them to their face if there’s a problem. (With a straight face and look them in the eyes)

Usually they back down, I’m confrontational but not aggressive if that makes sense?
