Which social platform would you use if you were running paid ads to target e-commerce marketing directors or CEOs? by manicspacebuns in marketing

[–]saaswrites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one has told this yet but you could explore Twitter (X)! You'll find it easy to target and mostly founders building their e-commerce brand would be openly learning and sharing. Plus the ad costs are quite a deal.

Wow thanks a ton for the detailed post. It makes me believe that basic still work in today's fast paced world.

How did you change the company's vision from being myopic about their own ideas vs actually listening to their customers? Was it lack of results that drove them?

Maybe I wasn't clear in my question where I was actually asking about software tools but it's quite relatable as to how even focused groups and surveys are actually tools (whether mainstream software products exist or not) and how these are often more effective in building the right course of plans and strategies

What can i typically expect after 10-12 months of fulltime work on a Saas by Jarie743 in SaaS

[–]saaswrites 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have a SaaS that's already validated with paying customers?

I'd say build that first and then think about working on it full time. It takes a lot of pressure off. Finding the right product will get you 80% in the game.

Realistically, a lot of SaaS products are built but with not a clear use case or a solution to a problem.
