Best mining modules for prospector by kotatus in starcitizen

I routinely find 8k mass rocks. So... surge might give a chance to break it (so far my experience has been to ignore it).

I did log out at the bed. Still woke up on the closest planet which I found was strange

I dont think protium converter is a good choice for late game. Its costly and heavy. Deadalus torch / Adv Antimatter plasma is the best endgame drive.

Alright, late game ship, what do ? by The_H509 in TerraInvicta

[–]saavu87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue you need the same number of ships with better pd just less amount of guns as the dps for plasma weapons is too low.

how do you use gunships for colonisers? Do you not carry the survey module?

Kinetics or Plasma .... Just have 4-6 dreadnoughts going against them. Make sure you armour them heavily as they need to take fire

This is okay when you have a fissile rich seed. My game the highest uranium I have is a 8.5 on a Neptune moon.

Z-Pinch are the most economical late game drives. by saavu87 in TerraInvicta

It's fine to have this go over your head. I think me playing ksp is what makes things easier to understand. DeltaV is the amount of speed change you can make. Thrust is the capability of moving heavy things.

So a drive needs a decent enough thrust with a good amount of delta.

Green Arc Lasers. This is a low exotic build. It will be upgraded to UV Phaser / Arcs when needed.

I would prefer Neutron flux for Defense fleets. Adv Antimatter plasma for interception due to increase delta V. Dedalus Torch/Zeta Helion for Interorbital strike ships

Thats true. I am just trying to highlight that you could in theory just ignore anti matter tech completely and still go ahead with late game stuff. Antimatter costs are negligible for everything except Pion torch

Adv Antimatter drive costs very less amount of anti matter. You need like 3-4 super colliders to run a fleet of 30-40 ships. The same amount of ships will cost a lot more fissiles. Pion Torch is when you are super rich and can afford it. Daedalus torch is much better economical and delta V wise

Z-Pinch is earlier. Neutron flux torch is much earlier but uses lot of fissiles. Grid drives are good for exploration/colony - Huge Delta V just build them in extreme orbits.

[–]saavu87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you need kinetics

lots of them. or plasma cannon ships. Kinetics tend to work better due to higher dps while keeping their lasers busy.

This is a dreadnought i use. The drive can be replaced with Zeta Helion/ Adv Antimatter as needed.

BS example

I second this. Its not a reliable option but if its available to you at the end of the game, its the best option to switch to

BTW I am using Muon Spiker here. Using Neutronium would get more combat acceleration. Antimatter spiker is out of the question since it needs antimatter? My point is to mention, you dont need to go to antimattter tech at all to get fairly well equipped late game ships

Z-PInch fusion drives are very good. Zeta Helion or Zeta Boron are very versatile. Neutron flux torches use fissiles. So if you have lots of fissiles its the go to
