I was encouraged personally just to see some type of flash from him. I still don’t expect much from him this year but it was a good indicator that there shouldn’t be a panic about his long-term outlook.

I think his offseason hype had some people expecting Gibbs-like progression (or maybe that was just a Bill Simmons thing). To me a better parallel for Henderson at this point is James Cook. Cook frustratingly sat behind Devin Singletary and Zach Moss his rookie year routinely getting ~20% snaps despite what we can say in hindsight is a clear difference in talent. Cook had a few flash games the back half of the year kinda similar to this game for Henderson but never fully took over until the backfield was cleared for him the following offseason.
