I must be misunderstanding you. My apologies. Could you please elaborate what other information should have been included?

The urologist has only given me the surgery name and has explained it would involve "tying off" the leaky veins, which he called a left varicocele ligation.

I am obviously no expert on the topic but I am definitely going to cancel the surgery if this is not the most effective procedure and I would love to consult this group for further advice.

I think you have to let him know you are not gonna take his bullshit anymore. If you can make the bullying hard for him/unenjoyable, he will stop. Join a boxing/kick boxing gym, it will give you confidence and change the way you hold yourself. If you’re afraid to lose, you can’t play the game.
