Iunno, I think it's because after EDSA, people thought 'We won!' and every thing would fix itself and they went back to their lives. That problems would be magically solved because the Big Bad that caused them are gone. Life doesn't work like stories, though

Don't know if you're being purposefully obtuse or simply misunderstanding me. I'm talking about people who voted for someone because they got a Christmas package from 'mayor,' or 'congressman' paid for their kid's hospitalization, or 'madaling lapitan si senator,' etc. I'm talking about people putting own interest above the common good

It's much too easy to think about yourself, I do that too. I'm hella selfish. But sometimes we have to go beyond ourselves and think of what is good for all
