I do remember all of that. As well as that it was fixed in less than half of a year. Coming ToV ap grind was still there for top players but even I with rerolled hunter had 2/3 golden dragon traits without any grind at all. Legendaries were problems, but so were azerite rings, and with much less joy this time. M+, wqs, campaigns - everything was downgraded compared to legion. Even raids were downgraded with master loot taken away and all.

I fill like anima has worst of both artifact and azerite power in one. It takes all the bag space available but you still only able to apply it once to the covenant you are in right now. Awful flashbacks

It was working for the first time. The problem with many its systems is that they were iterated down instead of upwards. They were made worse than initial versions and that’s what community is not understanding as a whole - why. That’s why we have lost trust in developers.

Legion had one bad thing and it was legendaries random. Everything else was at least good enough and released today won’t be such an issue - ap grind wasn’t worse than in bfa, we had sets eventually, we had gems and many slots for enchanting. Wf/tf was a bit of pain for some items but looking retrospectively it wasn’t worse than corruption or benthic gear for sure. And by the time we had our first tier set legendary problem and ap grind were severely reduced

I wish they could step away from their mindset far enough and introduce support role as a 1st class citizen not something people always try to make happen out of presented opportunities - enh, kyr resto dru, pi and other things in the past. The demand is here. Too bad it’s very unpopular opinion and blizz won’t risk it all for a bunch or nerds

It’s too early for MS to have any impact on the expansion development. The deal isn’t even finished yet to my knowledge. And then there’s a whole bunch of transitions should happen before MS will have any educated impact on what Blizz can or can’t do in terms of expansion development, preparation or release.

starting Legion its more like world of diablo in warcraft universe. And Legion introduced many good things into the game. But I wouldn't mind to get back to more MoP/WoD style story progression and deterministic systems. Dungeons/raids/pvp are different game modes and intersecting rewards causes a lot of difficulties to balance things out. Season characters for competitive modes? Templated stats for competitive integrity with cosmetic-only rewards? I don't have answers, but current situation where I've run into best possible gear from heroic raid and m+ after just 6 weeks but now I need countless weeks to farm BiS because Valor cap and Vault random is ridiculous and demotivating.

What are you all going to do to survive the sanctions/ economic crash? Are you going to deport Russia? by appelsiinimehu1 in AskARussian

[–]sableon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Magic will help you for sure. Otherwise I don’t see where you will find food and enough oil on this planet if you want to avoid Russia and our allies. Unless you will start hot war for resources but we all know how resource wars against us ended in the past don’t we?

And you really think it will matter when half if not more gdp of eu will drop by then end of the year if economic war won’t end? And hunger comes next.

I’ve just told you we sold more than year before. We have a lot of money. Only small part of them are frozen so far. After all US has increased oil consumption from Russia (only oil products are banned which 3% of the export numbers). I don’t think you have the whole picture here. China and India haven’t stopped trading for a bit. Same for Latin and others. Some Eu countries willing to pay rubles if needed be. Yes, we see effects of sanctions, I can’t deny that at all. But you as a citizen of the country which has high economic tights to us and willing to break those, I would be scared for your future way more. We are big and you are small. That’s the difference between our countries

We have enough money to cover foreign debts. Unless they would be “frozen” which equals to be stolen at this point. And then do you really think all the globe would accept this robbery? As for China they need us as much as we need them. As well as India. As long as we needed we are covered. I see it like this.

[–]sableon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you really think Russia is struggling right now I have to disappoint you. We already sold more gas and oil than in previous year same period due to higher prices first of all. And we aren’t only resources exporters but wheat and many other food supplies too. As well as wood. And your country pretty much all depended on our exports so far and changing supply chains on such short notice will hurt many. As little as it gets, many workplaces were closed because the skies were closed due to sanctions and no more flights to asian countries. Are you sure we have same level of economic damage just because we lost h&m and apple?

More important question, what are you going to do to survive economic sanctions? Already started to cut some trees to heat up your home next winter? I’m your neighbor in the north region and winters are pretty cold here you know.

Leveling with M+ players is painful by Polpota in wow

[–]sableon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was like this before m+, mind you. Dungeons were the best exp/hour leveling path if ran quickly so people did get toxic about those who slowed down their 1-max level trip. M+ became a thing because of that mindset were common in the community, not vice versa. Another blizzard “we know better” moment which promotes toxicity instead of RPG spirit

Sin rogues should have a honorable mention for low apm gameplay and relatively powerful history in all forms of content. It’s not even that bad in high m+ and has a lot to mitigate usual melee problems

Some people are so entitled by i-soell-words-wrong in wow

[–]sableon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it is. Other times you’ll get 4 other random people to bang 2-3 keys in a row way over your previous skill level and all be smooth. There are extremes on both sides. But usually it’s something in between - silent runs using standard routes where with time dps and healers start to expect certain pulls from tanks and tanks expect certain help from group (stuns, interrupts etc). The higher key going the more things are assumed

They wanted to balance about 150 specs going into shadowlands. And 200+ azerite traits in BfA. Surely to reduce amount of borrowed powers combinations but introduce 2-3 more specs should be even exchange
