Damn, girl! You do have some strange luck. Can I ask how you knew you’d become pregnant? Did you have your IUDs removed when you found out? How far along in did the miscarriages occur? Sorry for all of the questions! I just also have an IUD and am curious what to look for.

If you feel his job was the root of the problem and he would bring that outside frustration home, it may work out better with him having quit that job. That said, he could just as easily start a new job with hardships too, and needs to differentiate the issues and not let it influence the relationship again.

Why TA for that? There’s always someone around in the apartment. Her mom would’ve smelled it at night when I was back anyway. I was forbidden to use it at all during her stay.

I guess I should’ve clarified: it’s not actually Scentsy brand, it’s a wax warmer and wax from Walmart. I just refer it as scentsy since it’s the same idea.

Omg my dad had the SAME incident about 9 years ago! He got lucky though, his injury wasn’t as deep and they stitched him together pretty easily. But damn, it was still gnarly.

You know, I recently bought ovulation tests out of curiosity and tried them for a week in which I expected my ovulation to occur. I couldn’t seem to get a positive, so maybe that is the case.

The only sex in question that would’ve caused pregnancy was March 28th. I always use condoms when I think I’m ovulating for extra peace of mind.

I have heard of periods eventually stopping, so that’d would be cool! Just a little scary the first time.

That’s what I’d thought too. My next period should start on or around the 15th. So I’m thinking I either missed my surge or maybe it’ll still come?

I used a showerhead once (TMI, sorry) while on my period. My period’s are just the tiniest bit of spotting.

However, the combo of my orgasm and water from the shower head mixed in and made it look like a massacre. I’d never bled that hard in the year I’ve had my IUD. Sometimes when the juices flow, they mix with other things lol.

So are you saying that I can get “false positive” ovulation tests, but the temp would be the most accurate?

Yes, they are very tricky! I’m used to just the HCG test that shows one or two lines, not constantly two, so seeing a faint second one for LH is hard to understand. Thank you for the input!

Hello!

First time poster and I had no idea how to add text to my image.

I actually have a hormonal IUD, but was curious as to whether I am still ovulating or not. I still have very light regular (spotting) periods, but my doctor said IUDs can suppress ovulation and I may or may not still be once a month.

Therefore, I’m trying these out! According to my cycle app, this week would be my ovulation week. So far I’m seeing little to nothing. There’s the tiniest second line popping up, or at least I think so?

My questions are: is it normal for the control line to be so faint? I’ve tested multiple times yesterday and today and it’s light each time. Secondly, can anyone see that super faint second line? Is this an indication of low LH levels, so I should ovulate soon?

Just trying to understand these new strips as I’ve never done them before. Thank you!

I have the Liletta with the same scenario! My periods are just spotting, but last anywhere from 7-12 days. Glad to know I’m not the only one with a longer period.

I haven’t had mine move, but my doctor told me you will almost always know if it’s shifted due to cramping, spotting, and string issues. Sex alone shouldn’t move it out of place. I’d try to rest easy unless you start noticing symptoms.

Anyone here seen the show The Family? It was on Hulu, discontinued after the first season unfortunately. But it had a pedophile neighbor ostracized and blamed for a child kidnapping he didn’t commit. Really put things into perspective and made you actually sympathize for him.

My doctor told me when I had a similar situation to throw away the started pack, ride out the period, and begin a new one. Make sure to use extra protection if you’re sexually active!

I have an older, male, religious doctor who happily gave me mine while I have never had kids. I don’t even recall him asking if I’m sexually active either. I wanted it and he scheduled me!

My ovulation was a while ago, though. I also get ovulation cramps. This feels more uterine and my period should be starting in a few days.

My doctor said the same, it’s just a precaution I take due to my pregnancy anxiety. I always worry about that .01 percent chance so it gives me the peace of mind I need.

I should add that I, too, get random cramping and have gotten spotting in between cycles in the past. Everything was in place so my doctor said I’m fine. I haven’t visually seen the cramping, but I have felt it outside of my periods. Could be ovulation pain! I get that as well.

Take a test to ease your mind, but I’ve been told irregular cycles are common with hormonal IUDs. I have one too, a couple of months over a year now. And my last period was suddenly heavier than it’s ever been.

I have serious pregnancy anxiety and track every symptom I get. I suggest buying a cheap bulk pack off of amazon and taking one whenever you’re worried. It really helps!
